In the wake of the victory of Proposition 8 in California — the effect being the elimination of homosexual “marriage” — the thuggish behavior of the militant homosexual crowd has been breathtaking in its in-your-face approach.

The latest? The intimidation of the Christian-oriented dating site eHarmony into creating a similar dating site for homosexuals through a class-action lawsuit, one supported by an elected law enforcement official no less.

eHarmony, a Christian-targeted dating website, gets sued by a gay man demanding that the business match him up with a same-sex partner. The New Jersey Attorney General intervenes on behalf of the gay plaintiff and forces eHarmony to change its entire business model.

This is worth noting:

To be clear: The company never refused to do business with anyone. Their great “sin” was not providing a specialized service that litigious gay people demanded they provide.

There are plenty of dating site that do off those services. eHarmony was one that chose not to do so. But this has now become a “civil right,” apparently. eHarmony caved, perhaps motivated out of fear by the rampage that has been carried out by thugs in light of the voters’ approval of Proposition 8.

It must not only implement the new policy by March 31 but also give the first 10,000 same-sex registrants a free six-month subscription.

“That was one of the things I asked for,” said Eric McKinley, 46, who complained to New Jersey’s Division on Civil Rights after being turned down for a subscription in 2005.

The company said that Warren was not giving interviews on the settlement. But attorney Theodore Olson, who issued a statement on the company’s behalf, made clear that it did not agree to offer gay matches willingly.

“Even though we believed that the complaint resulted from an unfair characterization of our business,” Olson said, “we ultimately decided it was best to settle this case with the attorney general since litigation outcomes can be unpredictable.”

Fear of not only the rainbow mafia but also the courts (read: liberal judges and idiot juries) to misinterpret the laws.

And now a liberal judge in Looneyfornia has allowed such a frivolous nuisance suit to proceed.

Michelle Malkin sums it it up best:

Men seeking men” has now been enshrined with “I have a dream” as a civil rights rallying cry of the 21st century.

This after a campaign to bully and intimidate a restaurant in Los Angeles after one of the restaurant’s owners, a Mormon, was identified as a donor to the Proposition 8 campaign. After blogs and social networking sites organized protests and boycotts over one employee’s choice to contribute to a political cause with which they disagreed, the restaurant itself caved and agreed to donate to the effort to overturn the will of the people in the courts.

And her’s more leftist intolerance and hate on display in San Francisco’s with an anti-Proposition 8 mob assailing and assaulting a group of Christians.

This is from the actual commentary posted with the video at YouTube:

[A] crowd started gathering. We began to sing “Amazing Grace”, and basically sang that song the whole night. (At some points we also sang “Nothing but the Blood of Jesus” and “Oh the Blood of Jesus”.) At first, they just shouted at us, using crude, rude, and foul language and calling us names like “haters” and “bigots”. Since it was a long night, I can’t even begin to remember all of the things that were shouted and/or chanted at us. Then, they started throwing hot coffee, soda and alcohol on us and spitting (and maybe even peeing) on us. Then, a group of guys surrounded us with whistles, and blasted them inches away from our ears continually. Then, they started getting violent and started shoving us. At one point a man tried to steal one of our Bibles. Chrisdene noticed, so she walked up to him and said “Hey, that’s not yours, can you please give it back?”. He responded by hitting her on the head with the Bible, shoving her to the ground, and kicking her. I called the cops, and when they got there, they pulled her out of the circle and asked her if she wanted to press charges. She said “No, tell him I forgive him.”

Afterwards, she didn’t rejoin us in the circle, but she made friends with one of the people in the crowd, and really connected heart to heart. Roger got death threats. As the leader of our group, people looked him in the eyes and said “I am going to kill you.”, and they were serious. A cop heard one of them, and confronted him. (This part is kinda graphic, so you should skip the paragraph if you don’t want to be offended.) It wasn’t long before the violence turned to perversion. They were touching and grabbing me, and trying to shove things in my butt, and even trying to take off my pants – basically trying to molest me. I used one hand to hold my pants up, while I used the other arm to hold one of the girls. The guys huddled around all the girls, and protected them.

The dirty little secret is that Proposition 8 passed decisively with a large amount of support from black and Hispanic voters. Why is it a secret? Because al-New York Times blames the Mormons for the measure’s ballot victory, thus atirring up a vast amount of anti-Mormon hatred on the part of the anti-Proposition 8 mob. Mormon churches have been targeted for protests and vandalism.

Nice work, al-New York Times. Getting it wrong once again. Imagine if they had selected as their target, oh, the Religion of Piece (of Arm, of Leg, of Torso).
