Pledging Allegiance To ‘The One’ January 30, 2009

If Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Barack Hussein Obama gets His way, members of the United States military will be pledging allegiance to Him rather than the U.S. Constitution.

From Jumping in Pools:

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is extremely frustrated with orders that the White House is contemplating. According to sources at the Pentagon, including all branches of the armed forces, the Obama Administration may break with a centuries-old tradition.

A spokesman for General James Cartwright, the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, states that the Obama Administration wants to have soldiers and officers pledge a loyalty oath directly to the office of the President, and no longer to the Constitution.

“The oath to the Constitution is as old as the document itself.” the spokesman said, “At no time in American history, not even in the Civil War, did the oath change or the subject of the oath differ. It has always been to the Constitution.”

It’s one thing when a collection of idiot celebritards with the collective IQ of a grapefruit pledge allegiance to The Messiah. It’s another when The Messiah orders members of the United States military pledge allegiance to Him rather than the Constitution.

That’s breathtaking in its arrogance. It’s also reminiscent of 1930s Germany, when members of the German military had to pledge allegiance to Hitler. Here’s a draft of the new allegiance oath:

I swear by God Allah this sacred oath that I will obey without question the Führer of the German Reich United States of Obama Nation and people, to Adolf Hitler Barack Hussein Obama, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and that I am prepared as a brave soldier to lay my life on the line at any time for this oath.

This is also disturbing. It’s a clear vision into what the Chocolate Jesus and His Apostles think of the Constitution:

In a circular distributed by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the rationale for the change was made more clear.

“The President feels that the military has been too indoctrinated by the old harbingers of hate: nationalism, racism, and classism. By removing an oath to the American society, the soldiers are less likely to commit atrocities like those at Abu Ghraib.”

Pledging allegiance to His Royal Highness is reaching our gummint-run skoolz too. This on Clark County, Nev., schools from the blog Tree of Liberty concerns first graders being forced to pledge allegiance to a huge likeness of The One:

My son, who is in 1st grade, came home yesterday saying that he didn’t want to go back to school anymore. So I asked him why? He said that during the Pledge of Allegiance the teacher put up a large image of Obama next to the flag. I asked him if he was sure of this and I suggested to him that maybe the teacher just put up an 8×10 photo of the president. He said, “No, it is a large picture of Obama and when we are done Ms. **** turns off the image.” I also asked if they did this for Bush last year? He again said, “No.” This was my sons first day back to school since before Christmas, he was on a 5 week track break.

My wife volunteers a couple of days each week with helping out with my sons teacher doing various duties. She said that she would come in early this morning to see what was going on. She just got back and reported that this was true and then some. She said she waited out in the pod area and could see inside 3 of the 5 class rooms in this section of school. She said that when the kids stand each teacher flips on the classroom overhead and a full body image of Obama, with six U.S. flags behind him, comes up about 4 feet away from the flag that hangs on the wall. She said that the image has Obama staring straight at you with no facial expressions, just a serious look. I asked my wife if Obama had his hand over his heart? She said that she was so taken aback by this that she didn’t see it. What is worse is she said that all of the kids in each class faced Obama instead of the flag that hangs in the corner.

What the heck is going on?

Welcome to the United States of Obama, folks. Complete, unconditional allegiance to an individual for the first time in U.S. history. Back to the future. In this case, 1930s Germany.

Steele Prevails As RNC Chair January 30, 2009

Now this is change we can believe in.

Former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele was elected chairman of the Republican National Committee in a contentious, six-ballot election. Steele is the first black chairman of the RNC, a sign that the Republican Party has taken the back-to-back whuppins in the last two election cycles seriously.

The Republican National Committee has picked Michael Steele, a black man from a traditionally Democratic state, to be the new face of the party as the GOP forges a revival following a second consecutive electoral drubbing.

Steele, the former Maryland lieutenant governor, won the chairmanship Friday after six rounds of voting in which five candidates were competing. He becomes the first black chairman of the Republican Party just days after [Barack Hussein] Obama became the nation’s first black president.

Steele delivered a rousing speech after winning the race, pledging to re-establish the Republican presence in the northeast and win elections in regions across the country.

“It’s time for something completely different, and we’re gonna bring it to them,” he said. “Get ready baby. It’s time to turn it on.”

Steele said he would work to build the party to an unprecedented level and warned: “For those of you who wish to obstruct, get ready to get knocked down.”

Outgoing RNC chairman Mike Duncan, who presided over the last two electoral wipeouts dropped his bid for another term after the second ballot. Duncan, the inside-the-Beltway elitist who apologized for Chip Saltsman, another candidate for RNC chair, when Saltsman gave out copies of a Paul Shanklin parody CD with the song “Barack The Magic Negro” on it, is the face of what is wrong with the Republican Party, a clueless turd merchant with a yellow cowardly stripe down his back.

“Obviously the winds of change are blowing,” Duncan said as he withdrew from the race and got a standing ovation. The Kentucky Republican thanked former President George W. Bush and said of his two-year tenure: “It truly has been the highlight of my life.”

Good riddance. Don’t let the door hit you in the rear end on the way out.

Steele is a Conservative’s Conservative! He’s the former Lt. Gov of Maryland, and is the first African-American to be elected head of the RNC. Someone who is unapologetic for his strong family values and conservative principles.

He was elected for his beliefs, not his color. How refreshing.
