Now The Messiah wants to start looking at radical methods to cool down the atmosphere in the effort to fight the hoax known as global warming.

These people have truly traveled around the bend from having consumed way too much Algore-brand Kool-Aid.

Climate engineering? Who do these guys think they are anyway, God? Oh yeah, that’s right. He’s The Anointed One, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Barack Hussein Obama. Even the winds and the waves obey Him. Not to mention the rest of the universe.

The Messiah’s weather czar (pictured, below) is nuts. If anyone in the Bush administration had proposed this, I would have said they were nuts, too.

John Holdren told the Associated Press in his first interview since being confirmed last month that the idea of geoengineering the climate is being discussed. One such extreme option includes shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun’s rays. Mr. Holdren said such an experimental measure would only be used as a last resort.

“It’s got to be looked at,” he said. “We don’t have the luxury of taking any approach off the table.”

Of course we do. Global warming and cooling is a cyclical pattern of nature; we have alternating patterns of warming and cooling that have happened since the earth was created. It’s all related to that thing we see in the sky most days: the sun. Are these guys going to try to shoot something at the sun in order to control its behavior?

Mr. Holdren outlined several “tipping points” involving global warming that could be fast approaching. Once such milestones are reached, such as complete loss of summer sea ice in the Arctic, it increases chances of “really intolerable consequences,” he said.

Twice in a half-hour interview, Mr. Holdren compared global warming to being “in a car with bad brakes driving toward a cliff in the fog.”

This is the exact type of hysterical “We gotta do something and we gotta do it now” approach which creates bad, destructive public policy. Arctic sea ice is not disappearing and will not disappear completely, contrary to hysterical reports not based in reality but rather in flawed computer models. In fact, just the opposite is occurring: the amount of Arctic sea ice is increasing.

But don’t count on the Drive By Media to report that, uh, inconvenient truth. It doesn’t fit their radical socialist agenda or their predetermined templates.

Also, don’t forget what Rahmbo Deadfish said about crisis-mongering:

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.

That’s right. Let’s create a false crisis, exaggerate the hell out of it with help from our pals in the Drive By Media — or as The Great One, Mark “F. Lee” Levin calls it, the state-run media — and use it to push through our radical agenda without even taking time for debate but it’s just too critical we do something now!

No matter what the damaging long-term implications are, and no matter how ridiculous we look to anyone that isn’t a Kool-Aid drinking cult member.
