BDS Affected Moonbat Picked as DoD Adviser

Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama has selected a barking, screaming moonbat affected with Bush Derangement Syndrome as the top adviser to the Undersecretary of Defense.

Rosa Brooks will be changing jobs, from a columnist for al-Los Angeles Times. She’s also a former adviser to the Democrats’ Dr. Evil, George Soros, as well with the Open Society Institute.

Here’s a sampling frm July 2008 of Rosa Brooks and her BDS: labeling President Bush and Vice President Cheney as war criminals in a so-called mainstream media news column:

Barack Obama should be urged to establish a high-level, nonpartisan “truth commission” with robust subpoena powers early in 2009. That commission should investigate, hold hearings and issue a public report on responsibility for torture, war crimes and other abuses committed during the Bush administration.

Such a panel wouldn’t satisfy those who’d like to see Bush and Cheney in prison garb, but it would be a major step toward undoing the damage the administration did to our reputation as a nation committed to human rights. And as more incriminating details come out — and they will — some Bush-Cheney fan club members might even turn in their membership cards.

The top advisor to the Undersecretary of Defense supports the 43rd President of the United States and his Vice President being turned over to the International Criminal Court for trial on war crimes.

This is the mentality of those who are being entrusted with our national security, once again more proof that elections have consequences.

Putting military-hating moonbats in charge of the Department of Defense.

This is on top of Spain beginning an inquiry into holding criminal investigations into top Bush administration officials and issuing arrest warrants for Bush, Cheney, AG Alberto Gonzales, etc.

If we had a real leader as President instead of an apologizing appeasement monkey, he’d diplomatically tell the Spanish surrender monkeys — remember, they quit fighting the jihadists after the Madrid bombings — to play hide and go screw themselves.

Doyle’s Approval Ratings Hit All-Time Low

The approval ratings of Gov. Jim Milhous Doyleone are at an all-time low. The man who once famously said, “We must not, we should not and I will not raise taxes” then did just that finds that just 45 percent of Wisconsin voters surveyed are either satisfied or somewhat satisfied with his performance.

MADISON, Wis. (al-AP) — Gov. Jim Doyle’s approval rating hit an all-time low in a survey that has tracked it since he took office in 2003. The St. Norbert College Survey Center Poll sponsored by Wisconsin Public Radio released Friday shows that only 45 percent of respondents are very or somewhat satisfied with Doyle. That is the lowest numbers for the Democratic governor since 54 percent said they were satisfied in the fall of 2007.

Let’s see. Diamond Jim pushes through $1.2 billion in new taxes through the Legislature just weeks ago without any debate and now proposes $1.7 billion in new and increased taxes in his next biennial budget and is presiding over a state economy crippled by high taxes, excessive regulation and threats of unlimited litigation. Now his job approval numbers are in the Port-a-John.

Hmmm. I’d say WORST. GOVERNOR. EVER.

Now it’s time for the Republican Party of Wisconsin to cure its perpetual case of Cranial Rectal Inversion Syndrome and reverse this classic RPW visual:

Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker is the ideal candidate to take out Don Doyleone in 2010. Former Rep. Mark Neumann would also make a solid candidate as well.

Memo to The Stupid Party, because we know you read us: Attorney General J.B. Van RINO (pictured, below) is the one candidate who will guarantee Doyle a third term. Give us someone we can actually vote for, rather than the usual lesser of two evils.

Shameful Closed Forum

Seems like the two survivors of the mayoral primary in Racine have cut a secret dirty deal with both Racine Area Manufacturers And Commerce and the Racine County Economic Development Corporation to hold a closed forum outside the city limits so they can tell the two groups what’s on their mind.

What’s going on that the two candidates and RAMAC and RCEDC don’t want the public, the media (Drive-By and alternative) to know about? What’s the reason for having this forum, closed to everyone other than members of RAMAC and RCEDC, in Sturtevant? Last time I checked, Bob Turner and John Dickert were running for mayor of Racine, not Sturtevant.

The heads-up bloggers at the Racine Post did a good job of exposing this sham and calling for it to be cancelled.

Participating in a closed forum is an endorsement of secrecy and privileged access to a limited few. It’s troubling that our candidates, and future mayor, agreed to attend this forum, and that our business leaders set about organizing it. Both apparently think little of public participation in the democratic process.

Holding the forum in CATI is a bizarre twist on the secret forum. Have the candidates and business leaders forgotten we’re electing Racine’s mayor? Unless they plan to discuss moving CATI to one of Racine’s vacant industrial parks, it makes no sense to hold this forum in Sturtevant. Symbolic reasons aside, the location is simply inconvenient for Racine business owners/residents – the ones who can actually vote May 5 – who would like to attend.

This forum should be held in Racine, since the candidates are running for the position of mayor of Racine and should be open to (1) the public as well as citizen bloggers and other media to cover and make open inquiries of the candidates.

There’s a lot riding on this election, and even though neither of the candidates is worth voting for in my view, the people still have the right to know what their next mayor is telling two of the kingmakers in Racine.

What are they promising that we’ll have to pay for?

Condescending Vulgar Media Bias On Display

From the Media Research Center comes a look at how the Commie News Network and PMSNBC applied vulgar sexual references in discussing average Americans who gathered across the United States to protest high taxes, wasteful spending and massive instrusive government.

Folks, that’s what the media elites really think of you. On display for all to see, with R-rated connotations not suitable for children or for famile viewing.

Says the MRC’s Brent Bozell:

What an utterly embarrassing and crude display by MSNBC and CNN. It appears they’ve decided that since they can’t be any more biased in their coverage, they’ll ramp up the vulgarity instead.

Now the news isn’t just biased, it’s R-rated. MSNBC and CNN both allow this vulgar attack-journalism to go out on their airwaves without blinking an eye and without any sign of guilt. It appears neither woeful bias nor lowly crassness on their airwaves bothers them a bit.

MSNBC and CNN owe these decent Americans an apology for the slimy, smarmy attacks they perpetrated in ‘covering’ the TEA Parties. Ordinary citizens exercising their First Amendment rights in over 750 cities and towns deserve the media’s coverage, not their sleaze-riddled condemnation.

Power Line calls it an obscene insult to taxpayers.

Palin’s Star Continues To Rise

Sarah Palin gave a brilliant speech in Indiana last night at a Right To Life fundraiser, further proving that, no matter what the elitist Republican snobs at the country clubs think, she will be a GOP heavyweight in 2012. That, by the way, is why the Democrats and the White House have chosen to exercise the Saul Alinsky Rule No. 12 on her.

Palin drew approximately 3,000 people to the Vanderburgh County Right to Life fundraising dinner in Evansville, an annual banquet that typically attracts some of the GOP’s top national talent. Her sold-out appearance in a local exhibition hall prompted organizers to set up a paid closed-circuit broadcast at a nearby auditorium for a large spillover crowd and led local authorities to close down nearby streets.

“This is always a large event,” said David O’Steen, executive director of National Right to Life. “There was a lot of excitement about this among pro-life people. She is very well-known and respected in the pro-life movement.”

Palin was mobbed by autograph seekers and picture takers as she tried to get into the fundraiser.

Jane Abraham, the general chairwoman of the Susan B. Anthony List, a group that supports female politicians who oppose abortion rights, called the dinner a “very high-profile event” for opponents of abortion rights.

“It’s very exciting that she is doing this,” Abraham said. “It’s very refreshing to me as someone who has been involved in the pro-life movement for a long time.”

Here is her speech, covered live on the Commie News Network:

After 2½ months of THE. WORST. PRESIDENT. EVER. the concept of “President Palin” is looking better and better with each passing day.

More Fun With the Al-CNN Obama Stooge

Via The Jawa Report, here’s more fun with Susan Roesgen, the Commie News Network’s biased reporter not just interviewing Tea Day protesters in Chicago but rather confronting and verbally assailing them:

The guy called Barack Hussein Obama a fascist because, well, Our Lord and Savior has ruled like one since Day One. He views Himself as a ruler and us peasants as His subjects. Kings and Queens can be toppled. Just ask Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

By the way, check out the YouTube headline on this video. It was not a GOP rally. This was a pure grassroots rally. Pity the Drive Bys failed to realize one when they saw one. It’s not like the astroturfed stunts the Left puts on, or when six nutjobs show up and march in front of the Federal building in downtown Milwaukee and all four TV stations and the Journal Sentinel show up to cover it.

And “teabagging” is a vulgar sexual reference. Shows what the ruling political elites think of the Tax Day protesters.

The Jawa Report also reminds us of the Drive By Media’s reverent treatment of nutjob antiwar protester Cindy Sheehan, including this staged event with The Reverend Al Sharpton:

As The Good Lieutenant says:

Funny. I don’t recall any member of a mainstream press outlet anywhere, least of which CNN, debating with Cindy Sheehan.

Nothing like good old fashioned media bias on display, with Drive By Media reporters showing their open condescension toward average Americans.

No wonder The Great One, Mark “F. Lee” Levin, calls it state-run media. Essentially it is, doing the bidding of the ruling political elites.

Gateway Pundit takes us on a trip down Memory Lane, when Roesgen covered a rally against President Bush and had no problems with the protesters calling Bush a fascist and comparing him to Hitle. Watch for yourself:

Bush = Hitler, OK. Messiah = Fascist … NOT! She even went so far as to note the “likeness” of the Bush puppet with the horns and the Hitler mustache to the President himself.

A commenter at YouTube nails it:

If Susan Roesgen wants to become the Joseph Goebbels of the Obama regime she’s going to have to ditch that 80′s look and dawn the SS throwback uniform. Of course no one will really listen to her until she’s backed up by Obama’s goose-stepping civilian guard that will be “as well trained and as well funded as our military.”

Michelle Malkin has more here.

And Founding Bloggers has exclusive video of what happened after the al-CNN cameras cut away following Roesgen’s tirade.

Tax Pledge? What Tax Pledge?

Alex Conant at The Weekly Standard says we can pretty much say good-bye to any of the promised tax cuts under Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama and say hello to massive tax increases to pay for His grandiose socialist schemes.

With Obama in office for fewer than 100 days, it’s already clear his tax pledges were largely campaign rhetoric. Some of the tax relief he proposed during the campaign was forgotten soon after he won. For example: His $3,000 per job tax credit to incentivize businesses to hire additional employees has never been heard from again.

Other tax cuts that Obama once championed have been deferred until after his term in office. Specifically, according to his budget, his plan to eliminate capital gains taxes for small businesses is not scheduled to take effect until 2014. Considering the urgency of this proposal on the campaign trail–it remains a cornerstone of his jobs agenda on his transition team’s website–it’s curious that he now believes those tax credits are not needed for the next 5 years.

Even Obama’s much-ballyhooed “Making Work Pay” tax credit is not what it seems. Originally passed in the stimulus bill, the subsequent budget passed by Congress ends the credit in just two years.

How could the Democrats allow Obama’s signature tax reform to expire, resulting in higher taxes on 95 percent of Americans? When asked at last month’s prime-time press conference what he considered essential for Congress to support, the president said: “The bottom line is that I want to see health care, energy, education and serious efforts to reduce our budget deficit.” Not only do tax cuts not make his list of priorities, all of those high-price agenda items require more government revenues. Some will come from fulfilling his campaign promise to end many of President Bush’s tax cuts, resulting in trillions of dollars of new government revenues.

To help fund the rest, the budget also includes unexpected new taxes that Obama either never mentioned or glossed-over on the campaign trail. His cap-and-trade program would raise energy costs by thousands of dollars per family–a new tax Democrats do not offset in their budget with once-promised credits.

How does The Anointed One plan on funding government-run health care? He is planning on reducing deductions for mortgages and charities. That’s right, the home mortgage interest deduction, long a staple of the middle class, will either be slashed or eliminated entirely. And charities? You can forget about writing off charitable deductions. In both cases, the class envy/class warfare card comes out … because it’s not fair!

That still leaves a huge hole in The Messiah’s budget. Look for Him to propose to tax employee health care benefits, something He accused John McCain of wanting to do in the campaign yet will really do Himself.

And that doesn’t even figure in the carbon tax, aka cap-and-trade.

The Democrat Party motto: if it moves, tax it; if it’s still moving, regulate it; when it stops moving, subsidize it.
