The girlie men that pass themselves off as Republicans actually showed some spine and gonads and introduced a resolution condemning the Democrat Statist majority over an attempt to prohibit the Republicans from sending a flow chart demonstrating the Democrats’ Statists’ and Our Lord and Savior’s health care plan and from referring to the House Democrats as, well, House Democrats as well as use the phrase “government-run health care.”
“The Democrats’ plan would mean more bureaucracy, more taxes, more mandates, more government involvement in your life and fewer jobs in this struggling economy. They’re trying to restrict Members of Congress from showing it to their constituents, and that’s just wrong,” House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said.
“I think the American people deserve the truth, and that’s why this resolution is important,” Boehner said.
Democrats maintain that sending out the chart as official mail would violate House rules because the information is misleading. Rules for franked mail bar Members from using taxpayer-funded mail for newsletters that use “partisan, politicized or personalized” comments to criticize legislation or policy.
House Democrats are threatening to use those rules to prevent House Republicans from referring to them as “House Democrats,” instead making them use the phrase “House Majority.” Apparently referring to Democrats as Democrats is now partisan, politicized and personalized.
Same with the phrase “government-run health,” which is now verboten as well. The Democrats Statists are now insisting it be called “public option health care plan.”
Nothing like obscuring the truth and telling the voters who’s behind it.
