Could be, since Our Lord and Savior is clearly campaigning to be Dear Leader and Ruler of the World.
Dan Riehl makes the case here:
With unbound arrogance and a naivete more suited to a first-year world history student, the current occupant of the White House set aside his oath of office at the United Nations today. Having done that, he proceeded to pick up the dangerous mantle of world functionary and global celebrity destined to leave the world in an alarming heap whenever his most unfortunate, but unavoidable term in office expires, or he’s forced out …
As the Americans that we are and have always been, we’ll endure this pathetic stain walking across the Oval Office carpet for the remainder of his four years. And I imagine he will actually see chains of a sort when his political party is ravaged in 2010. Only then can a new Republican Congress compose itself to rein in this foolish attempt to apologize for America’s past sins.
Until that time, as loyal and patriotic Americans, we should have only two goals: to endure the unthoughtful shame and suffering of having this inexperienced, undemocratic boy king in the White House; and preparing to vanquish as many Democrats from Congress as we can in 2010.
That and nothing else is the only acceptable and ultimately American way of dealing with the tragic American political mistake Barack Obama truly is.
Worst. President. Ever.
