Hell, We Even Miss Jimmy Carter

From James T. Harris’s National Conversation comes this:

Yes, that would be former President Jimmy Carter on the billboard. And after 14 months of Barack Hussein Obama, I am nostalgic for Bill Clinton. Hell, I even miss Jimmy Carter.

He was a lousy president, arguably the worst in the post-Civil War era, but at least he respected the American people.

The Bully State

Here’s how the Nanny State becomes the Bully State under ObamaCare NaziCare. The new Statist health care plan operates under the following assumptions:

  • Most of the health care burden is driven by disease that results from lifestyle decisions.
  • Most of the health care burden is therefore, in theory, preventable.
  • The cost of most lifestyle-related disease is not recovered from the individuals with such diseases or from the industries whose products contribute to these diseases.
  • Individual autonomy cannot be the paramount value in health care.
  • Individual choice as a basis for health is ‘too simplistic’.
  • Individual freedoms may have to give way to the coercive power of the State.
  • Interventions, including coercive actions, to change behaviour may proceed in the absence of evidence of their effectiveness.
  • Individuals have a clear responsibility to refrain from lifestyle decisions that lead to disease and, consequently, treatment can be denied to those who refuse to change their behaviour.

Every libertarian and libertarian-leaning American should be downright frightened.

Why? Because this is the basis of a police state through all of the enforcement mechanisms in the ObamaCare NaziCare bill. Says Bruce McQuain at Questions and Observations:

For those of you who can manage to look at the health care bill objectively and have listened to descriptions of what it requires should have absolutely no problem understanding that the list of new assumptions are clearly evident in that bill. One only has to think “individual mandate” to know that the assumption “individual autonomy cannot be the paramount value in health care” is being acted upon. The hiring of 16,000 new IRS agents to enforce that mandate speaks to the assumption “individual freedoms may have to give way to the coercive power of the State”.

So it certainly isn’t at all a leap to also understand that at some point, to keep this from being another in a long line of centrally planned failures, the attempt to intervene and change behavior and to coercively enforce the “responsibility” to refrain from lifestyle decision which lead to disease and the consequent health care costs, will be acted upon. The Nanny state becomes the Bully state.

And for those of you who would wave this away with a “this can’t happen here”, I’ll simply remind you of what was signed into law yesterday and the fact that some of the assumptioins listed above, as I’ve pointed out, have already been acted upon.

One of the commenters at QandO mentions the 10 percent tanning bed tax. It’s been decided that somewhere tanning beds pose a risk to those who use them, so King George III Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama and Parliament the tyrannical thugs in Congress decide to impose a tax to discourage behavior of which they disapprove.

How long until that is extended to any type of lifestyle choice or food and beverage which our new overlords decide isn’t in our best interest to either engage in or consume?

Remember the 17,000 Gestapo thugs authorized in the ObamaCare NaziCare legislation. The enforcers. These are the ones that will show up at your door should you be unable or unwilling to (1) comply with the unconstitutional individual mandate and (2) be unable or unwilling to pay the fine that the state will impose on you. Prepared to haul you off to the Democrats’ Statists’ version of Auschwitz, a federal prison, for five years and impose another $25,000 fine on you for noncompliance and nonpayment of previously imposed fines.

This is a tax on living, unlike state-mandated auto insurance, which applies only if you drive and have access to or own a car. No one forces you to do either. But you are required to live and breathe, unless you have assumed room temperature. No freedom loving society should or will tolerate a tax on your very existence. All the jokes about Democrats Statists wanting to tax the air you breathe just became reality Sunday.

Should this come to pass, I firmly believe it will be the enforcement that will trigger another American Revolution, as freedom-loving Americans will not stand by idly and allow themselves to be carted off to the gulags for not complying with unconstitutional mandates and fines.

I say, bring it on. Or as Al Bundy would say, Let’s rock.

The Left’s Hypocrisy On Violence

More on the faux outrage over alleged threats of violence against various congresscritters that voted for the federal takeover of the U.S. health care system.

First, from Tim Graham at NewsBusters comes this gem from Courtland Milloy of the Washington Compost, nice, tolerant, compassionate speech directed at Tea Party protesters:

I know how the “tea party” people feel, the anger, venom and bile that many of them showed during the recent House vote on health-care reform. I know because I want to spit on them, take one of their “Obama Plan White Slavery” signs and knock every racist and homophobic tooth out of their Cro-Magnon heads.

Can you feel the love? Imagine if a conservative blogger or radio talk show host had said that …

Says Graham:

Can you imagine a man like Milloy demanding the police arrest someone for “allowing saliva to hit my face”? Or knocking their teeth out for “allowing saliva to hit my face”? Milloy’s racial animus is on Red Alert, but no editor at the Post suggested he count to ten. They must have wanted it this angry.

Milloy seems upset that the black congressmen at issue were so calm. But many conservatives don’t think it’s calm to compare their opposition to nationalized health care to membership in the Ku Klux Klan. That’s worse than catching a little saliva in the face. Milloy channeled the race-baiting of Rep. Jim Clyburn, who said these protests weren’t about health care:

“It reminds me of that period in our history right after Reconstruction,” Clyburn said, “when South Carolina had a black governor and the political gains were lost because of vigilantism, the rise of the Ku Klux Klan.”

Earth to Karnak Clyburn: stop mind-reading your smears. Milloy’s headline claimed “congressmen exhibit grace, restraint” — but this charge is disgraceful and shows zero restraint. It’s reckless and unwarranted. You can bash the guy with the “white slavery” sign. But it’s not accurate to tar every caucasian conservative with a brush of Klan white.

The race card, played off the bottom of the deck, to go along with real threats of physical violence right on the pages of the Washington Compost for all to see. Didn’t anyone edit his column? Any editor step up and tell him it might not be such a good idea to publish that overheated rhetoric? Probably not. My guess is the editors at the Washington Compost wanted that to appear.

The Real Aim Of ObamaCare

Rep. John Dingell (Statist-Mich.) admits what the real goal of ObamaCare is and why its most noxious elements have been put off until 2014: it’s to control the American people.

[Dingell] defended the ObamaCare bill on WJR’s Paul W. Smith show yesterday when the host wondered why Democrats wait until 2014 to stop people from dying through lack of universal health care coverage. Dingell tells Smith that it takes a lot of hard work and preparation to create a system that will “control the people.” Freudian slip?

Let me remind you this [Americans allegedly dying because of lack of universal health care] has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you’re going to pass legislation that will cover 300 [million] American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.

“To control the people.” So there. The cat is out of the bag, confirming what many of us have known all along. ObamaCare isn’t about health care reform or giving more Americans access to quality health care or even reducing costs, since the atrocity approved Sunday night does none of those things.

What it does do is set up a system in which the federal government will be able to control down to minutia what its citizens will be allowed and not allowed to do, down to how they live the most intimate details of their lives, a concept that would no doubt be completely repulsive to the Founding Fathers.

Right now, Barack Hussein Obama is playing the role of King George III and Congress the role of Parliament in a movie we’ve seen before. Remember what Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. — Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.

Or as Jefferson famously wrote later:

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Control the people … we saw how well that worked out for the British in the 18th century.

Phony Violence Claims

House Democrat Leader Steny Hoyer is all up in arms.

Hoyer claims that members of his caucus have received death threats and other threats of violence as a result of their votes for ObamaCare.

The Maryland Democrat said more than 10 House Democrats have reported incidents of threats or other forms of harassment about their support of the highly divisive health insurance overhaul vote. Hoyer emphasized that he didn’t have a specific number of threats and that was just an estimate.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Capitol Police and sergeant at arms briefed Democrats behind closed doors today about the incidents of violence — the most high profile of which have been toward Democratic Reps. Thomas Perriello of Virginia, Steve Driehaus of Ohio and Louise Slaughter of New York.

Of course, in his view, it’s Tea Party protesters that are behind it, whipped up by talk radio and conservative bloggers and encouraged by Republicans in Congress. He thinks the GOP should do more to get these people to stand down:

Hoyer hinted that Republicans should do more to condemn these threats of violence.

“I would hope that we would join together jointly and make it very clear that none of us condone this kind of activity,” Hoyer told reporters. “And when we see it, we speak out strongly in opposition to it. And I would hope that we would do that going forward.”

Much like the infamous spitting incident and alleged shouting of racial slurs at Rep. John Lewis (Statist-GA) and homosexual slurs at Rep. Bawney Fwank (Statist-Mass.), which all turned out to be hoaxes documented on video as such, there’s no evidence any of these threats actually occurred, let alone that Tea Party protesters were behind them.

For example, the alleged coffin on the lawn of Rep. Russ Carnahan (Statist-Mo.) is a flat-out lie. Here’s the lie as reported by The Politico:

A coffin was placed on a Missouri Democrat’s lawn, another in a string of incidents against lawmakers after their vote Sunday on a health care overhaul.

Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-Mo.) had a coffin placed “near his home,” a spokesman said Wednesday evening.

Several other Democrats have had threats leveled against them, prompting a closed-door briefing of Democratic members by the FBI, Capitol Police and the House Sergeant at Arms.

“Carnahan appreciates thoughtful feedback received both in favor and opposition of health insurance reform,” Carnahan spokesman Jim Hubbard told POLITICO Wednesday evening “We can disagree on important issues facing our country without resorting to this kind of thing. Russ Carnahan isn’t going to shy away from the importance of reform when 45,000 fellow Americans died last year due to a lack of health insurance.”

45,000 Americans did not die as a result of a lack of health insurance. More Barbra Streisand (B.S.) from the statists hellbent on taking away all our liberties. But anyway … Granted, The Politico included this throwaway line:

The coffin was from a prayer vigil.

But it also included this unrelated information in a deliberate attempt to frame a prayer vigil as part of some threat against Carnahan:

This came after Rep. Tom Perriello’s (D-Va.) brother’s gas lines were cut, Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) received death threats and Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) received a message saying snipers were being deployed to kill children of those who voted for health care overhaul.

This is a blatant lie and a shameful attempt to smear participants in a peaceful prayer vigil as violent. How do we know? Here’s first-hand evidence from Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit, who was a participant in a prayer vigil, first at Carnahan’s office then at his home.

He says:

Russ Carnahan is so frightened to meet with his constituents after his very unpopular vote that he is now lying about a prayer service. This is despicable. Russ Carnahan never said anything when his SEIU supporters beat, kicked and stomped on Kenneth Gladney in a parking lot outside one of his events. These were the same supporters he was sneaking into one of his staged town halls. Instead of apologizing for his supporter’s violence, he is making up stories about peaceful tea party protesters at a prayer service.

This won’t stand. There was a time Russ Carnahan and the Politico could get away with this awful lie. Those days are over. We demand that the liberal cranks at Politico and Russ Carnahan retract their dishonest tea party hit piece.

Funny, but I don’t remember anyone on the Left complaining and wringing hands on this. Or any of the assassination threats against President Bush or any of the truly unhinged actions against military recruiting stations across the country.

Many folks have an axe to grind over this bill, and it’s not just “Reich wingers.” But you wouldn’t know that if you only listened to the media spin on these stories. They – in concert with Democrats in Washington, DC and in the blogosphere – know that if they can unfairly demonize all the opposition to Obama and his agenda then they can win the “message battle,” and that Obama effectively would be able to do pretty much whatever he wants, because people who don’t know any better would just chalk all opposition up as nothing more than crazy rantings from “right wing racists,” etc. Which is pretty close to being as despicable as the use of violence itself to get a point across, because both are detestable ways at attempting to silence the opposition by any means necessary (a retrospective on the left’s “tolerance” for free speech can be found here) – a vile tactic that is about as unAmerican as you can get.

She also points out how the state-run media has conveniently dropped the word “alleged” from its reporting of all these incidents, including the purported racial and homosexual slurs, taking the word of the various congresscritters as gospel.

Oh, and one of her readers points out:

[A] reader reminds me of the bomb threats at Senator Jim Bunning’s Kentucky offices received during the standoff earlier this month between him and the Senate on unemployment benefits and how Congress was going to pay for a thirty day extension. The MSM was where on this disturbing story again?

Cue the chirping crickets. Never heard about that from al-CNN, al-AP, al-Reuters or See BS News.

A commenter points out how this very well could become similar to another famous incident in history:

This is very worrisome because it’s exactly how the media and the administration would lay the groundwork for a Reichstag fire-type incident.

Interestingly, the Democrats’ Statists’ complaints draw very little sympathy in the comments thread at The Politico, essentially saying that they brought this on themselves by their corrupt bargains, shameless conduct and outright fascist tactics.

They have outraged citizens, and if you think this is bad, wait until the 17,000 Gestapo thugs fan out into the country to haul in Americans who won’t comply with Our Lord and Savior’s mandate and throw them into His version of Auschwitz, aka federal prisons.

That’s when the real violence will start.

We can only hope and pray that this giant obscenity is repealed prior to that point.

Full Speed Ahead

Don’t look now, but now that the federal takeover of the health care system is complete, the radicals in Washington have a couple of more things on the table just ready to devour.

First, the purple shirted goons at SEIU have their greedy eyes focused on your 401K.

One of the nation’s largest labor unions, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), is promoting a plan that will centralize all retirement plans for American workers, including private 401(k) plans, under one new “retirement system” for the United States.

In effect, government pensions for everyone, not unlike the European system and regardless of personal choice.

The SEIU, which was integral to the election of Barack Obama as president, is working with the left-leaning Economic Policy Institute (EPI), and the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, on SEIU’s plan, called “the Retirement USA Initiative.”

Claiming that the retirement system in place now has “failed most Americans,” EPI vice president Ross Eisenbrey, told a labor union publication that “account balances have fallen by a third since late 2007, leaving many older workers unable to retire just as our economy is shedding millions of jobs.”

“The failure is broad and deep. It’s not just a few people falling through the cracks: most of us already are in the ravine. Three in 10 have only a 401(k) or similar savings plan, and the rest of us are totally out of luck,” said Eisenbrey.

Eisenbrey said that the median 401(k) account balance was $25,000 in 2006, and the median for workers near retirement was $40,000.

“Half of those who had a 401(k) were nearing retirement with less than $40,000 in their account,” said Eisenbrey, who is trained as a lawyer and was a Clinton administration appointee from 1999 through 2001.

The proposed retirement system would be operated under the following parameters:

  • Benefits that move with you, even if you change jobs
  • Payouts only at retirement
  • Shared responsibility among employers, the government and employees
  • Pooled assets, controlled by professional investment managers

“The financial crisis and the economic recession have shone a spotlight on the inadequacies of today’s system,” said Stephen Albrecht, director of benefits for SEIU.

For those of us who were paying attention, this is not news. This was first floated by leftists during the 2008 campaign:

A wide range of sweeping changes to the 401(k) system were proposed Tuesday at a hearing on how the market crisis has devastated retirement savings plans.

Chief among them was eliminating $80 billion in tax savings for higher-income people enrolled in 401(k) retirement savings plans.

This was suggested by the chairman of the House Committee on Education and Labor.

“With respect to the 401(k), it appears to be a plan that is not really well-devised for the changes in the market,” Rep. George Miller, D-Calif., said.

“We’ve invested $80 billion into subsidizing this activity,” he said, referring to tax breaks allowed for 401(k) contributions and savings.

With savings rates going down, “what do we have to start to think about in Congress of whether or not we want to continue and invest that $80 billion for a policy that is not generating what we … say it should?” Mr. Miller said.

Another tax and grab scheme from leftists in Washington who think all of the money in the United States is really theirs.

Under the pretext of combating the financial crisis, Democrats in Congress have been conducting hearings on proposals to confiscate private retirement accounts and turn them into government-controlled accounts managed by the Social Security Administration, by implementing a new tax in the guise of mandatory savings scheme.

Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economic policy analysis at the New School for Social Research in New York, testified before Congress last month, proposing that 401(k)s and IRAs be confiscated and converted into universal Guaranteed Retirement Accounts (GRAs) managed by the Social Security Administration.

The GRAs would be enforced by means of a mandatory savings tax equating to 5 per cent of an individual’s annual paycheck deposited to the GRA. Social Security and Medicare taxes would still be payable, employers would no longer would be able to write off their contributions and capital gains would be taxable year-on-year. In addition, workers could bequeath only half of their account balances to their heirs, unlike full balances from existing 401(k) and IRA accounts.

Of course, right before the 2008 election, The Reverend Jackson said that IRA’s and 401K’s were the last untapped sources of government revenue.

In other words, money that you have legally squirreled away for your retirement really isn’t yours because your friendly federal government should be able to come in and confiscate it for the common good.

Another idea we can expect to hear soon — possibly as soon as Our Lord and Savior’s deficit reduction committee is finished — is the European-style Value Added Tax, or VAT, a suffocating tax placed on every level of production from raw materials to final product. The VAT almost killed the economies of every European country that imposed it, but all the Ivy League geniuses in Washington and the Law Professor in Chief think they know better.

[A]s soon as the supposed “savings” and “deficit reductions” of ObamaCare are proven to be false, which will be sooner rather than later, the taxes will come our way. Something we have been warning about for some time and something which will slow our economy down even more and thus will begin the cycle we might very well have to get used to unless we throw as many Socialist Democrats out of office this November.

Conservatives and Republicans who underestimate President Obama do so at their own electoral peril. Unlike Jimmy Carter, Obama is a true believer, someone who understands that transforming policy translates into votes and a citizenry that is more reliant on the federal government. And unlike Carter, Obama is a streetwise, tough politician who will not give an inch when it to comes to his vision of a “New America” — one that is modeled after European socialism.

In addition to nationalizing Americans’ 401K accounts and IRAs and pushing the VAT, expect fast-track action on:

  • Blanked amnesty for 12 million illegal aliens.
  • Card check to eliminate secret ballots on forming a union.
  • Enforcing a diversity doctrine on talk radio (a backdoor Fairness Doctrine).
  • Attempting to silence opposition through nonstop demonization Alinsky’s Rule No. 12).
  • The massive carbon tax.
  • Universal voter registration.

And don’t forget, Barack Hussein Obama has already signaled He is comfortable with using “deem and pass” to get any of His agenda approved into law.

Buckle your seat belts. We’re in for a bumpy ride to say the least.

White House Easter Egg Roll Politics

Guess what?

If your children attend a private or parochial school, they are no longer welcome at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.

The administration of the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the USA, has limited participation to children who attend gummint-run skoolz.

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration announced on Tuesday it has reserved 3,000 free tickets to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll for students in D.C.-area public and charter schools, but not for children who attend private or parochial schools.

Why exclude children in private and parochial schools, asked the father of a parochial school student at Tuesday’s press conference where U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan and District of Columbia Mayor Adrian Fenty announced the ticket giveaway.

“These tickets are from the White House to public schools, and we’re appreciative, but there may be other things unrelated to this press conference,” Fenty responded. “That’s a great question.”

Quite frankly, given this administration’s propensity to blatantly ignore even acknowledging Judaic and Christian holidays while openly acknowledging the holidays of the Religion of Piece (of Arm, of Leg, of Torso), I am surprised the Easter Egg Roll hasn’t been cancelled.

After all, it’s Easter, the celebration of the Resurrection of the real Messiah. Note the irony of banning Catholic and other Christian schoolchildren from participating in an Easter celebration.

Side note: the Obama children attend a private school. Will they be allowed to participate?

Real Privacy Concerns Over ObamaCare

Buried inside of an excellent as usual column on ObamaCare by the brilliant Thomas Sowell is this:

If the current legislation does not entail the transmission of all our individual medical records to Washington, it will take only an administrative regulation or, at most, an Executive Order of the President, to do that.

With politicians now having not only access to our most confidential records, and having the power of granting or withholding medical care needed to sustain ourselves or our loved ones, how many people will be bold enough to criticize our public servants, who will in fact have become our public masters?

Think about it. Members of Congress are on the brink of having access to each and every Americans’ private, personal medical records. Think of the power this gives to the political class, power which no doubt will be abused in order to intimidate opponents of Washington into silence.

It’s called blackmail. Think it won’t be used? Think again. Here’s two prime examples of why we are now all at risk:

Despite whatever “firewalls” or “lockboxes” there may be to shield our medical records from prying political eyes, nothing is as inevitable as leaks in Washington. Does anyone still remember the hundreds of confidential FBI files that were “accidentally” delivered to the White House during Bill Clinton’s administration?

Even before that, J. Edgar Hoover’s extensive confidential FBI files on numerous Washington power holders made him someone who could not be fired by any President of the United States, much less by any Attorney General, who was nominally his boss.

Remember Filegate and the infamous Craig Livingstone? The Clinton White House hack and former bouncer who had a hand in the raw personnel files of political opponents compiled by the FBI ending up in the hands of White House political operatives. Remember: this was raw data, not verified, much of it gossip, rumor and innuendo.

Say you were a politician and there was a rumor that you were having an affair. That information would wind up in your FBI file. Does anyone doubt that those files made their way to the likes of Larry Flynt during all the investigations of Bill and Hillary and were used to blackmail members of Congress? Even if it were not true, would you want your wife to hear the rumors? Remember: it’s difficult to prove a negative.

Same with the misuse of FBI files by J. Edgar Hoover, who some might argue was the most powerful man in Washington during his tenure as FBI Director. Hoover had access to the most intimate private information on everyone in Washington, including the most powerful figures —John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King — and was not afraid to use it to get what he wanted or to get others to do what he wanted.

Do we really want the members of Congress to have access to our private medical records? Do we really trust them not to use them to blackmail us into silence and to keep us from opposing them?

I know I don’t.

By the way, where are all the handwringers who were so upset that George W. Bush authorized warrantless wiretaps on phone calls of foreign jihadists?

Figures. Goddamn hypocrites.

The Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the USA, will ban all U.S. offshore drilling through the end of His first — hopefully only — term but is saying nothing about Russia drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Obama administration is poised to ban offshore oil drilling on the outer continental shelf until 2012 or beyond. Meanwhile, Russia is making a bold strategic leap to begin drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico. While the United States attempts to shift gears to alternative fuels to battle the purported evils of carbon emissions, Russia will erect oil derricks off the Cuban coast.

That’s right. As the prices at the pump soar to $3 a gallon and beyond, sleep safe and secure knowing that the Russians are taking the oil off American shores in the Gulf of Mexico, oil that could be used to increase our own supply and as a result help keep prices down. Oh, and the ChiComs too.

Remember that when you see gas prices approaching 2006 levels this summer, just think of who is responsible for that:

Here’s why what The Messiah is doing is such a bad idea and once again in defiance of public opinion:

Offshore oil production makes economic sense. It creates jobs and helps fulfill America’s vast energy needs. It contributes to the gross domestic product and does not increase the trade deficit. Higher oil supply helps keep a lid on rising prices, and greater American production gives the United States more influence over the global market.

Drilling is also wildly popular with the public. A Pew Research Center poll from February showed 63 percent support for offshore drilling for oil and natural gas. Americans understand the fundamental points: The oil is there, and we need it. If we don’t drill it out, we have to buy it from other countries. Last year, the U.S. government even helped Brazil underwrite offshore drilling in the Tupi oil field near Rio de Janeiro. The current price of oil makes drilling economically feasible, so why not let the private sector go ahead and get our oil?

Here’s why:

The Obama administration, however, views energy policy through green eyeshades. Every aspect of its approach to energy is subordinated to radical environmental concerns. This unprecedented lack of balance is placing offshore oil resources off-limits. The O Force would prefer the country shift its energy production to alternative sources, such as nuclear, solar and wind power. In theory, there’s nothing wrong with that, in the long run, assuming technology can catch up to demand. But we have not yet reached the green utopia, we won’t get there anytime soon, and America needs more oil now.

Amen to that. Fact is, all of the green kooks’ orgasm-inducing favorites — solar, wind and geothermal — will not power the American economic machine, not that after Barack Hussein Obama and his Marxist pals are done, there’ll be much of that left.

We need oil and its products. We need natural gas. We need coal. We no longer have access to the world’s second largest supply of clean-burning coal, located in Utah, thanks for Bill Clinton’s dirty dealings with Indonesia in the late 1990s, signing an executive order turning the area into a national park and forcing us to import clean-burning coal from Indonesia.

The goal of these Marxists is to reduce the United States to a third world banana republic, with its citizens dependent on government from cradle to grave. Similar to that of the environmentalist wackos, who are prominent in Our Lord and Savior’s administration. They view capitalism and mankind as the biggest threat to the world.

Recall the old saying about environmentalists: they are watermelons. Green on the outside, red on the inside. It’s no mystery that the international environmental movement has become home to many of the disgraced commies from the old Soviet empire.
