You Tubin’
The ultimate libertarian song. Billy Joel and “My Life.”
I don’t need you to worry ’bout me
‘Cause I’m all right.
I don’t want you to tell me it’s time to come home.
I don’t care what you say any more
This is my life.
Go ahead with your own life
Leave me alone.
Arrest Made In Beating Of Priest
I blame Bill Maher and the rest of the Hate Left for this:
SAN JOSE, Calif. — A man allegedly molested three decades ago by a priest was arrested Friday on charges that he lured the clergyman to the lobby of a Jesuit retirement home and beat him in front of shocked witnesses, authorities said.
William Lynch, 43, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon for the May 10 attack that sent the Rev. Jerold Lindner to the hospital with bruises and lacerations, said Sgt. Rick Sung, Santa Clara County sheriff’s spokesman.
Lynch harbored a fantasy for years of confronting the priest, who also allegedly molested his little brother.
Sung said Lynch attacked the 65-year-old priest after he failed to recognize him at the Jesuits’ Sacred Heart retirement home in Los Gatos. The attack occurred in a small room adjoining the lobby.
“They’re saying it was pretty close to beating him to death,” defense attorney Pat Harris told The Associated Press. “They’re essentially saying that he waited all these years and then took out his revenge. It’s sort of the ultimate revenge story.”
The Hate Left in general and Bill Maher in particular have launched smear after smear against the Catholic Church, insinuating that every parish priest is a pedophile or an ephebophile who molests pre-pubescent and pubescent boys. The Hate Left has no problem bashing the heck out of the Catholic Church – who by the way did an awful job of handling the decades-long scandal – and has used it as an excuse for anti-Catholic bigotry. They won’t say one word about another religion that poses a direct threat to our freedom and way of life, and to anyone who does, they scream “Islamophobe!” I wonder if the same idiots had they been alive in the 1930s and 40s would have labeled most Americans “Nazi-phobes.”
But I digress.
This reminds me of the Bill Sparkman case. Sparkman was the census worker who committed suicide in Kentucky in 2009, staging his death to make it look like a homicide committed by “crazy right-wingers” by scrawling the word “FED” into his chest. Sure enough, the Hate Left, eager to make the Tea Party folks and other conservatives guilty by association, took the bait. Within days after Sparkman’s body was found, lefty bloggers and commentators were screeching about hate from everyone from Rush Limbaugh to Michelle Malkin to Sarah Palin to Michelle Bachmann to the Tea Parties motivated some whackjob to murder Sparkman as a blow against the federal government.
When the truth came out – thanks in no small part to the shoe leather efforts of R.S. McCain of The Other McCain - the Hate Left gave us the Emily Litella reaction: “Never mind.”
I hope the guy who did this gets the max. And yes, to be equitable, he should be charged with a hate crime, since he targeted his victim based on his religion. Oh yeah, that’s right. Whites, males, Christians (especially Catholics) don’t count. Now if the victim had been a Moooslim …
The Enemies List
Looks like we have Richard Nixon 2.0 in the White House.
From Michael Ramirez:
In case you missed it, Richard Nixon Barack Hussein Obama told a Univision radio audience to vote in order to punish their enemies, presumably those racist whiteys that don’t support amnesty for illegal aliens.
If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, “‘We’re going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,” if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s going to be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2.
Most. Divisive. Politician. Ever.
We’re going beyond just President here. We’re going to include every politician at every level of politics in U.S. history. No politician in memory has divided the American people by race, class, ethnicity, sex, sexual preference, etc., like The Messiah.
Glenn Beck once called Our Lord and Savior a racist who hates white people. I agree with Beck. I really believe He does hate white people, even to the point of hating His own white half.
And no, I’m no racist. I hate Obama’s white half as much as I hate His black half.
I am proud to be on Obama’s enemies list. Since I am His enemy, He is not my President. I was never a fan of Bill Clinton, but I believe Bill Clinton loved his country and still does. Other than cutting taxes, appointing two conservatives to the U.S. Supreme Court and dealing with the thread of jihad, I was not a huge fan of George W. Bush. but likewise I believe he loved his country and still does. Out of respect to the office, I referred to them as President Clinton and President Bush.
Not this assclown. Epithets like “bastard” and “son of a bitch” are common to refer to this usurper. The man clearly hates America. He is, as Rush Limbaugh has said, our first anti-American President. No wonder, when you look at all the anti-Americans he hung out with over the years. Folks like Bill Ayers and Frank Marshall Davis. Spending 20 years in the hate-filled racist church of black liberation theology listening to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright spew his racism, hate, bigotry, anti-Semitism and anti-American rhetoric.
Is it really any wonder the guy emerged as just another turd in the cesspool of raw sewage of the anti-American Left?
I can see November 2012 from my house.
Hot Air’s Allahpundit observes:
I’m half-disappointed that he didn’t go the whole nine yards and call Republicans “un-American” just to put a bow on the last month of campaign rhetoric, but there’s still plenty of time until the polls open next Tuesday.
Flopping Aces’ Dr John has more here, including gems like this:
Obama is speaking about his version of American values, and not the values of normal Americans. Those of us who would like to see American law upheld do not share the same values as Obama.
We are the enemies of the United States. The President of the United States has declared us enemies.
This is the
bastardguy who promised to change the tone in Washington.I guess you could say that he has changed the tone. Obama has made Washington and politics absolutely toxic.
We’re not just enemies, we’re treacherous enemies.
This is the President who ended the “Global War on Terror.” The phrase, that is.
This is the President who claims the Chamber of Commerce is a threat to democracy.
Obama sees more enemies inside the United States than outside. United States citizens are now “enemies.”
The tone in Washington sure has changed.
One thing that absolutely has to change in two years is the occupant in the White House. It’ll be nice to once again have a President who doesn’t think Americans are the enemies of America. This is despicable behavior on the part of any President of the United States.
I don’t just miss George Bush, now I miss Richard Nixon too.
And Obama once again has been named Your Daily Flaming Dumbass. They ought to just name the award after Him and retire it.
Stupid Is As Stupid Does
Just like Mama Gump used to say. Or, as Albert Einstein put it:
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Here’s El Rushbo’s version of the same thought:
Three-quarters of American adults know someone who’s out of work and looking for a job. Now, that is a huge number. You want more of that? Keep voting Democrat.
‘A Generational Choice’
Brilliant ad from soon-to-be Sen.-Elect Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).
Rubio gets it. He understands the immense challenge facing America in the next decade.
As a son and grandson of immigrants, I would be proud to have this man represent me in the United States Senate.
Yeah, I choked up while watching it.
No Compromise Or Bipartisanship
Quote of the day goes to El Rushbo:
The Republicans have a chance to be warriors for liberty. If they say, in the midst of this, one word about compromise or bipartisanship, to hell with them.
The Old Guard, the Republican Inside-the-Beltway Establishment, not all of which are RINOs — Republicans In Name Only — are already pushing the finding common ground with Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama.
Appeasement will get you nowhere except defeated.
The Old Guard won’t go down easy. From Roll Call via Red State comes the information that Congressional Republican leaders are in the process of hiring staff for all the newbies that will be riding the red tsunami coming into Washington in January.
In anticipation of major GOP gains in next week’s elections, House Republican leaders have put together a list of experienced Washington hands to help fill top staff positions for the surge of newly elected outsiders.
Leading the effort are Minority Leader John Boehner (Ohio), Minority Whip Eric Cantor (Va.) and the National Republican Congressional Committee.
The leaders have put together a list of about 75 to 80 potential chiefs of staff, including current and former Capitol Hill staffers and lobbyists who have been recommended or have inquired about working for an incoming Member, according to several Republicans familiar with the document.
“There will be a lot of new, energetic Republicans coming to town — some of whom will have staff, others who will begin to assemble their teams,” Cantor spokesman Brad Dayspring said in an e-mail. “There’s a lot of important work to get done right out of the gate, so it’s important that newly elected Republicans have access to experienced, competent staff so that they can hit the ground running.”
In other words, the GOP Establishment doesn’t want these Tea Party yokels bringing their campaign staffs with them to Washington. Good Lord, they might upset the cocktail party circuit.
This was confirmed by a staffer who did not want to go on the air with Rush Limbaugh for fear of his voice being recognized. The caller, who spoke with Bo Snerdley off the air, confirmed this was being done and seemed angry that El Rushbo was exposing it to his 20 million national listeners.
Remember what former Senate Republican Leader Trent Lott said about the Tea Party crowd:
We don’t need a lot of Jim DeMint disciples. As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them.
The Washington GOP insiders don’t want the Tea Party members of the House of Representatives and the Senate to upset the order of things. The way things are done in Washington. Despite the fact that that is exactly why the voters — the people who own the country, to use Ross Perot’s phrase — are sending them to the nation’s capital.
Says Red State’s Hogan:
This is about making sure the “newbies” do not rock the boat and get with the program… the Washington establishment’s program. The staff that the establishment will “suggest” to the new members will be the same freaking idiots who have been bouncing around the Hill forever and will be more likely to go along to get along – to continue the same way Washington has been working forever.
Red State’s Erick Erickson informs us that the Old GOP Establishment is telling big donors that they have no plans to repeal ObamaCare:
In the past several weeks, there have been several closed door, off the record meetings of high dollar donors getting briefings from various elected officials, including several Senators. In each case the donors have been “reassured” by the Senators present that they have no intention of repealing Obamacare, just restructuring it.
The Senators seemed to think the high dollar donors were not kooks like those tea party activists and would understand the practical need to just “restructure” instead of “repeal.” Unfortunately, the Senators have badly misread the donors.
In other words, the donors are pissed. hey went right to Tea Party-friendly media and blew the whistle. That was not what they donated their money for, the same ol’, same ol’. A wink and a nod to business as usual.
Now we have this throw-away line from Rick Moran at Right Wing Nut House in a piece designed to explain why the GOP will probably fail in the upcoming Congress:
[T]he GOP will refuse to deal with the president because their rabid, frothing at the mouth base of partisans equates compromise with weakness.
Sorry, but this represents the typical GOP insider view of the Tea Party: a bunch of rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth types. Yes, Rick, we are angry that Republicans have appeased the progressive movement and helped move the country to the Left. Rick, you are a conservative. Or so you claim. Do you want ObamaCare? Cap-and-tax? The so-called financial reform bill (which is on the verge of eliminating totally free checking, among other things)? Nationalization of banks, the auto industry, Wall Street? Blanket amnesty for illegal aliens, designed to produce 12 million Democrat votes in 2012?
I say, not just NO but HELL NO! I’d prefer absolutely nothing get done the next two years than the Republicans acquiesce and let the petulant, narcissistic Little Black Man-Child have an inch of His way.
Or, as Smitty at The Other McCain puts it:
Common sense analysis declares significant portions of the Obama agenda Unconstitutional. It’s so bad, that common sense is threatening to leak into too legal system! Let’s wait until after the election and the ObamaCare verdict before polishing the kneepads, eh, Moran?
Let the vetos pile sky high, say I: they’ll have the effect of bringing more independents to the conservative fold.
We’re not sending the likes of Marco Rubio, Dan Coats, Rand Paul, Joe Miller, Pat Toomey, Ron Johnson, Rob Portman, Sharron Angle, Ken Buck, Kelly Ayotte, John Hoeven, Mike Lee, John Raese and hopefully Christine O’Donnell and Carly Fiorina as well to play pattycake with the Obama Regime and help advance their radical agenda just at a slower rate. We’re not firing Bela Pelosi and forcing her to hand over her gavel to John Boehner just to bring back the Go Along Get Along Gang of Bob Dole and Bob Michel.
We’re seeking real change in order to give the American people hope once again.
Kleefisch Derangement Syndrome
This is a prelude to the eventual post on the governor’s race here in Wisconsin.
It’s been prompted by some of the most ignorant drivel I’ve read in a long time. Usually, the ignorant drivel comes out of the mouths of liberals. Occasionally, it comes from someone on our side.
Got into a heated discussion last night and this morning on Facebook over a supposed conservative’s decision to vote for Tom Barrett in the governor’s race because Rebecca Kleefisch, the Republican Lieutenant Governor candidate, does not support special rights for homosexuals and homosexual marriage.
That’s right. A so-called conservative is going to vote for a third term for Jim Doyle, America’s Worst Governor, a man who with the help of his Democrat allies in the Legislature has brought Wisconsin to the brink of insolvency and virtually destroyed the state, because the No. 2 person on the GOP ticket does not support one of her pet causes.
I’m willing to bet that Scott Walker, the top of the GOP ticket, shares those views as well. So calling on Walker to condemn comments made by his running mate is a waste of time. It ain’t happening.
What’s worse, this person went way beyond the pale, called Kleefisch a hater and a bigot because of her views, which are based on her Christian faith. I expect extreme vitrolic over-the-top rhetoric to come out of progressives, because it’s a knee-jerk reaction with this, but not from our side. Nice tolerant progressives who scream “Nazi!” or “Racist!” or “Bigot!” or “Hater!” because they cannot debate.
Fact: the Marriage Amendment passed in 2006 with the support of 60 percent of Wisconsin voters, including myself. You may not like that, but that is a sizeable majority of Wisconsin voters who agree with Kleefisch on the issue of homosexual marriage.
I’d also be willing to bet that if it were placed on a ballot, a sizeable majority of voters would not support creating a new class of victims to be awarded special protection and special rights that the rest of us don’t have.
Back to the issue at hand: in the Facebook screed, no direct quotes, links or video were used to document the alleged hatred and bigotry. It took me less than a minute on the Internet to find the quote. It’s from an interview Kleefisch gave to WVCY-FM (107.7)’s Homefront program:
At what point are we going to OK marrying inanimate objects? Can I marry this table or this clock? Can we marry dogs? This is ridiculous.
The tools that are being used by the radical homosexual movement — the Rainbow Mafia as it were — may not want to accept the premise, but the end goal goes far beyond forcing society to recognize “marriages” between people of the same sex. As Europe found out once it went all-in for homosexual marriage, the next goal was marriages involving more than two people.
That’s right. Once marriage is defined as a civil right, it cannot be denied to anyone under any circumstance. One man and two women. One woman and two men. Two men and two women. Marriage between blood relatives (after all, they are consenting adults).
Clocks? Tables? Dogs? My hunch here is Kleefisch was using a concept described by El Rushbo as “demonstrating absurdity by being absurd.” It’s sarcasm, folks. We use it a lot here. Snarky observations tend to point out the stupidity in progressive thinking.
Back to the slippery slope argument for a moment. The end goal of the radical homosexual movement, I believe, is the normalization of same-sex relationships between adults and children. We’ve had at least one major psychiatric organization remove the mental illness classification from adults who want intimate relationships with children and adolescents, much as they did with homosexuality itself in the 1970s. The radical homosexual movement is in bed with the NAMBLA folks (pun intended) and others who think it’s perfectly normal for adults to have intimate relationships with children and adolescents of the same sex.
They realize that they cannot get there overnight. They have to advance step by step. Much like Barack Hussein Obama realized he couldn’t get to single payer health care in one step, so he introduced ObamaCare as a trojan horse to initiate the process. Baby steps. To get to radical end results.
Look, I don’t give a damn what two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own bedroom. It’s none of my business. But don’t come out and tell me I have to recognize it and celebrate it. Marriage is one man and one woman, no matter what some black-robed jihadist says it is.
And if you are planning to vote for Tom Barrett over what Rebecca Kleefisch said in that interview, I’ve got news for you. Most of us see that you were planning on voting for Barrett all along. Much like the idiots in 2008 who claimed they were going to vote for John McCain until he put Sarah Palin on the GOP ticket and that was just too much so they voted for Obama. Another news flash: they were planning on voting for Obama all along.
Voters like that should do the rest of us a favor and stay home. Seriously. They put the malevolent elected officials in office that confiscate our money and threaten our freedom.
Bottom line is the election next Tuesday, both here in Wisconsin and across the country, is based on the economy and jobs. Which candidates are better suited to repair the state and national economy and help repair the damage of unchecked progressive rule.
And as of today, Rasmussen Reports has moved the Wisconsin gubernatorial race into the Solid Republican category. Why? Because the most recent Rasmussen poll shows Walker with a commanding lead over Doyle’s Mini-Me at 52 percent to 42 percent.
The New Soup Kitchen America
Make that … Obamamerica.
An unemployment rate of 9.5 percent is bad enough, but when you add in workers whose hours have been cut to part-time and people who have given up looking for work, it becomes 17 percent. That is one in six Americans is out of work.
Unacceptable.
Watch this 60 Minutes piece (via The Right Scoop) and remember when you vote next week. Liberal/Progressive policies of tax, spend and regulate brought us to this, and it’s time to begin the process of taking our country back from those hellbent on destroying hope.
And yes, you can keep the change.
More from Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit:
Even after an extension of unemployment benefits to 99 weeks, many of those about to go off the program are in a quandary. Scott Pelley talked to some of them in California’s Silicon Valley. 20% of those unemployed today have college degrees. In California the actual unemployment rate is 22%. 4.5 million Americans have taken withdrawals from their 401K accounts.
And The Other McCain’s co-blogger Smitty writes:
The religious leap of faith required to believe the Federal Government capable of being the Jobs Bringer is one that merits continual ridicule.
It’s jobs. You know … what Joe Biden thinks is a three-letter word. Government does not create jobs, but government sure as heck can kill them off.

Great ad for Sean Bielat, running for Congress and within striking distance of taking down the Banking Queen, Bawney Fwank.

Speaking of the Banking Queen, here’s a twin spin:
