Classy Lefties Super-Glue School Doors

True to form, classy lefties super-glued the doors at a Catholic school in Milwaukee’s inner city where Gov. Walker was scheduled to read to children. No doubt some of WEAC’s finest were involved, since they aren’t back to work yet (and even when they, who can tell, given how ignorant and ill-informed our kids are, especially in MPS?). WEAC, of course, is the Wisconsin Extortion Association Council, the newly castrated state teachers union.

MILWAUKEE - Governor Scott Walker and others heading to Messmer Preparatory School on Milwaukee’s north side had to go through alternate entrances on Friday after a protester made sure those doors wouldn’t open in a normal fashion.

“Some of these folks superglued our front doors at the prep school,” said Br. Bob Smith, OFM, the president of Messmer Catholic Schools, about the school on the corner of North Fratney and East Burleigh Streets.

Smith went on to point out that one of the protesters was encouraged others to join and threatening a riot to disrupt the event.

He told Newsradio 620 WTMJ that a woman was walking in front of the school Thursday, asking people to protest.

According to Br. Smith, one protester said ” ‘Get ready for a riot,’ because they were going to disrupt the visit.”

Br. Smith said that, in his opinion, the Republican governor’s visit to read to students there on Friday was not about political overtones connected to protests that have been happening all year in the state regarding the rollback of collective bargaining rights for many public workers.

These are the same overgrown adolescents who disrupted a ceremony for Special Olympics in June, protested at a company that hires developmentally disabled adults in July and disrupted the opening ceremonies of the Wisconsin State Fair in August.

Stuck in the Terrible Twos for life, apparently.

But, don’t forget … it’s all about the children:

“People ought to start acting like adults,” said Br. Smith.

“You’ve got little kids who have no clue what you’re even talking about, and you make something political when it isn’t, that’s just flat-out wrong.”

The unionistas are politicizing non-political events, and that’s indefensible.

You know when it will stop? When the state coordinated with local law enforcement — police and sheriff’s departments — to have anyone who disrupts an event arrested, placed in handcuffs and frog-marched out in front of the TV cameras, giving them the attention they crave. Right now, the governor is choosing to ignore it and they’re still getting coverage from the sympathetic media. A few images of them lying on the ground, being cuffed then frog-marched out will give them a different kind of attention.

It might, just might, put an end to these temper tantrums.

You lost. Get over it.

West Memphis 3 Set Free

The concept of justice gets prison-raped again.

An Arkansas judge has OK’d a plea-bargain agreement to release from prison three men who raped and murdered three eight-year-old Cub Scouts in 1993.

JONESBORO, Ark. (al-AP) — Three men convicted of killing three 8-year-old Cub Scouts and dumping their bodies in an Arkansas ditch changed their pleas Friday, resolving a year-long effort to win their freedom.

Under a plea bargain, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley were being freed immediately. The boys’ families were notified about the pact ahead of time but were not asked to approve it.

The defendants, known by their supporters as the West Memphis 3, agreed to a legal maneuver that lets them maintain their innocence while acknowledging prosecutors have enough evidence against them.

“I am innocent of these charges but I am entering an Alford guilty plea,” Echols told the judge. Baldwin and Miskelley also reasserted their innocence.

“Although I am innocent, this plea is in my best interest,” Misskelley said.

The three were credited with time served, and Echols is being freed from Arkansas’ death row. They were placed on 10 years’ probation and if they re-offend they could be sent back to prison for 21 years, Prosecutor Scott Ellington said.

“I believe that it would be practically impossible after 18 years to put on a proper trial in this case,” Ellington said.

“I believe this case is closed and there are no other individuals involved,” he said.

Coming on the heels of the miscarriage of justice in the Casey Anthony case, allowing the women who murdered her own daughter then partay while authorities searched for her, is it any wonder why any Americans believe in the concept of justice any more?

Three murdered allowed to walk away scot-free. Sure, they maintain they were innocent, but what convicted felon doesn’t? They admitted prosecutors had enough evidence to convict them. They were convicted by a jury. They should be forced to serve their sentences like other convicted felons.

Of course, you get idiot celebrities involved:

A 1996 HBO documentary, “Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills,” drew the attention of celebrities including [Eddie]Vedder [lead singer of Pearl Jam] and Natalie Maines, lead singer of the Dixie Chicks. They and other celebrities helped fund a legal team that worked to win the three a new trial.

“Why are they innocent?” Vedder said in an interview with The Associated Press last year. “Because there’s nothing that says they’re guilty.”

I guess now, in addition to being a foreign policy expert, Maines is also an expert on criminal justice. Facepalm.

Feingold Says ‘No’ To Any 2012 Run

That’s the sound of the air going out of the Democrats’ balloon in Wisconsin, as former Sen. Russ Feingold has decided not to run for any elective office in 2012.

Democrat Russ Feingold has decided he will not be a candidate for political office next year, taking himself out of the running in 2012 for either U.S. senator or for governor in the event Democrats force a recall election against Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

In an email going out to supporters early Friday morning, Feingold called it a difficult decision but said he wanted to devote his time to teaching full time at Marquette Law School, finishing the book he is writing on the U.S. response to the Sept. 11 attacks and leading the political committee he founded, Progressives United.

“While I may seek elective office again someday, I have decided not to run for public office during 2012,” Feingold said in the email.

Even after receiving a smackdown from Wisconsin voters over the past two weeks in a vain attempt to steal control of the State Senate, I still believe the Hate Left, fueled by the now powerless unionistas, will attempt a recall of Gov. Scott Walker next year. It takes a little over 500,000 signatures to force a recall. Although petitioners cannot legally collect signatures until November, I believe they have been collecting them already and just waiting to fill in a legal date. Personally, I have been approached on two separate occasions to sign a recall petition of Walker. When I pointed out that it was illegal, the petitioner turned and hightailed it in the other direction.

Problem is, who do the Democrats get to run?

Feingold was their dream candidate to run against Walker. Now, not only do the Democrats not have a candidate to run against Walker in the recall election, they also do not have anyone for the vacant Senate seat held by retiring Sen. Herb Kohl. The likely front runners for the Kohl seat would be Rep. Tammy Baldwin and Rep. Ron Kind, two of the three Democrats representing Wisconsin in the House of Representatives. The Sentinel Journal also mentioned former Rep. Steve Kagen of the Fox Valley Area, but he’s not likely to be able to carry the state as a fringe candidate. Remember his false braggadocio from his first White House visit? Not to mention “running on Injun time.” And other not-ready-for-prime-time moments.

I don’t think either Baldwin or Kind would attempt to run against Walker. Dare I say, but do they bring back Jim Doyle? If they think things were so good when Diamond Jim was governor, go for it. Let Walker’s record of accomplishment be contrasted with Doyle’s record of failure.

Democrats could also turn to Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who lost to Walker in the gubernatorial election in 2010, but Barrett already has two statewide campaigns that have ended in defeat, having run for governor in 2002 as well, losing the primary to Doyle.

It’s more proof that, in what was thought to be a blue state, the Democrats’ bench in Wisconsin isn’t very deep, and whoever gets the nomination for the vacant U.S. Senate seat most likely will be swimming upstream in what is shaping up to be another (red) wave election and doing it with an albatross named Barack Hussein Obama and his sinking approval ratings on the top of the ticket.

ACORN, SEIU Take Over California Bank

Looks like a group of thugs and goons from ACORN and SEIU got the jump on the U.S. Day of Rage that we talked about here.

Via Gateway Pundit, the aforementioned thugs and goons took over a bank branch in California and refused to leave until a bank president met with a homeowner whose house was in foreclosure.

PASADENA – A group of about 50 protesters overcame security and jumped turnstiles Thursday afternoon to commandeer the corporate headquarters of OneWest Bank.

Members of Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment and the Service Employees International Union set up tents and blocked off employee elevators for several minutes chanting loudly in support of Rose Gudiel, who is on the brink of being evicted from her La Puente home.

The animated group ignored police requests to leave the private property until bank Vice President Brandon Latman agreed to meet with Gudiel and her family.

FYI, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment is the reformed ACORN. SEIU,are Barack Hussein Obama’s version of Hitler’s brownshirts, in this case purpleshirted goons who show up to put the beatdown on the opponents of the Regime.

There’s been talk for some time of this type of action, sending mobs to take over banks and financial institutions. The people who are part of groups like ACORN and SEIU aren’t very bright and are incapable of thinking for themselves. Hence, the mob mentality. They are also subject to manipulation through the use of class warfare tactics and guess who Our Lord and Savior has been demonizing. Among others, banks and financial institutions.

ACORN was involved in the original subprime mortgage scandal in the 1990s. ACORN was one of the leftwing thugs that actively intimidated banks into making home loans to customers who, shall we charitably say, didn’t deserve them. Bad credit. Insufficient and even nonexistent income. No down payment. ACORN, along with the Clinton Justice Department and the likes of The Reverend Jackson and The Reverend Al Sharpton, threatened lawsuits over what they called “redlining,” or denying home loans to people in certain locations based on race and income. Rather than fight the bullies, banks and financial institutions knuckled under rather than have to prove a negative — namely that they weren’t Raaaaacist! Yes, there are five a’s in Raaaaacist!

We’ve had previous incidents of bank takeovers by leftist goons, one here by — wait for it — SEIU in Pennsylvania, another here by unionistas in Madison. From Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government on the Pennsylvania takeover:

The message they are sending by doing this is “you damn well better do what we want or we will make every single aspect of your life a living hell”. “We will storm the capital“. “We will come to your place of business”. “We will come to your home“.

“We will not relent until you submit”.

We’ve seen them attack businesses. One of the AFSCME locals here in Wisconsin tried intimidating businesses through boycott in Union Grove earlier this year for declining to put pro-union signs in their windows. We’ve seen mobs go to homes of elected officials and private citizens. One such incident had a bunch of protesters bussed in to protest at the home of a private citizen which left a 14 year old boy trapped inside alone.

One thing to note in this California protest:

Two thoughts:

• What’s with the police not arresting individuals and forcibly removing them from private property. The image of the cops saying “Pretty please with sugar on it” comes to mind; it’s not a pretty image. This was the perfect time for the nightsticks, the tasers and the paddywagons. If the police are going to refuse to enforce the law — either out of sympathy or fear — God help us next month when the thugs and goons attack. It will be Britain all over again.
• Why did the bank VP agree to meet with what are essentially terrorists? What a girlie man. This is how mobs like this are empowered: first, the law does nothing to stop them, then the target of their illegal occupation agrees to meet with them.

We are going to see more of this going into the 2012 election as the Little Black Man-Child and his minions whip up frenzied mobs using class warfare and the “Us vs. Them” mentality.

Here’s An Idea! Let’s Eliminate The Rich

Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) ratcheted up the class warfare rhetoric just a little more, saying “We’ve got to eliminate the rich.”

Of course, Weasel Zippers points out this inconvenient fact about Sen. Lautenturd:

That’s right: the blowhard demagogue’s net worth is somewhere between $50 million and $105 million. Suggestion for Lautenturd and Warren Buffet: if you think it’s such a good idea for the government to confiscate all wealth in the country, why don’t you lead the way and donate yours?

What credible news department would be selling propaganda connected to any politician in its online store?

Obviously none. That’s what makes the discovery that See BS News was selling an entire line of propaganda pertaining to Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama so alarming.

From a supposedly objective news department, you can buy a book entitled “Change We Can Believe in: Barack Obama‘s Plan to Renew America’s Promise.” Or the autobiography ghostwritten by Bill Ayers, “Dreams From My Father” in either paperback or hardcover. Or Life Magazine’s “The American Journey of Barack Obama.” Or “The Official Inauguration Celebration DVD.” Or “Obama: The Historic Campaign in Photographs.”

In other words, a collection of propaganda. Nothing from, say, Ronald Reagan. Or George W. Bush. Or Bill Clinton. Or any other President. Just the Anointed One.

In fact, out of the 13 items for sale, seven are Obama-related, in addition to the late Sen. Ted Kennedy’s memoir, “True Compass.” The only CBS-related item is a DVD copy of “60 Minutes Presents — Obama: All Access – The Road to the White House.”

There is so much merchandise that a side bar on the site even has a separate “Barack Obama” tab for quick browsing.

Over half of the items in the online store for a supposedly objective news organization is propaganda pertaining to a news subject for which they are expected to provide objective news coverage. Instead, See BS News acts as a shill for the Obama Regime, selling its propaganda.

Thank God for screen caps. After The Blaze published its story, See BS News removed the items from its online store — except for the 60 Minutes propaganda. However, they can be found by doing a search for “Obama.”

More proof that the state-run media has become the fourth branch of government, functioning much like Pravda in the former Soviet Union or any of Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda outfits in Nazi Germany.

Trolling For Scandal In Texas

Here come the Roasted Paulnuts, unhinged and on the attack.

Robert Morrow, one of Ron Paul’s supporters, has taken the following attack ad in an Austin, Tex., weekly newspaper:

“Have you ever had sex with Rick Perry?” blares the ad, placed by Morrow in this week’s Austin Chronicle. “Are you a stripper, an escort, or just a ‘young hottie’ impressed by an arrogant, entitled governor of Texas? Contact CASH, and we will help you publicize your direct dealings with a Christian-buzzwords-spouting, ‘family values’ hypocrite and fraud.” …

Morrow claims that he knows strippers in Austin who have stories about Perry, but none of them are willing to come forward to the press; hence, the need for an ad in the Chronicle. “I think it’s only a matter of time until somebody credible comes forward,” he told me.

At the bottom of the ad is a nod to the longtime (and equally unsubstantiated) rumors that Perry, who has pursued sundry anti-gay policies, is himself gay. “Note to gay people: If you know the truth about Rick, please QUIT covering for him,” it reads.

These are attacks right out of the sewer, and expect them to continue as Perry ascends the polls. Some will come from the Roasted Paulnuts. Others will come from the GOP Establishment. The rest will come from the dumpster-diving state-run media and the hacks at Organizing for America, Media Matters, the Kos Kiddie Day Care Center and other assorted Soros monkeys.

Says The Other McCain:

So the governor is either a reckless womanizer or a closeted homosexual, at least according to this Ron Paul supporter in Austin. That’s the great thing about unsubstantiated rumors: They can be completely contradictory, and still be damaging.

Especially with new and social media.

By the way, I thought a candidate’s sex life was his/her own business. Oh, yeah, that’s right. That only applies to Democrats.

Obama: ‘I Have It Tougher Than Lincoln’

Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama is having himself a pity party, saying he has it tougher than Abraham Lincoln did during his presidency.

President Barack Obama said yesterday in Decorah, Iowa, that he absorbs more political criticism than Abraham Lincoln, the assassinated 16th U.S. president, attracted from his Civil War critics.

The comment came during a question-and-answer session where one invited audience member asked Obama how he deals with his congressional critics in the GOP. “The Congress doesn’t seem to be a good partner. You said so yourself, they’re more interested in seeing you lose than [seeing] the country win,” the questioner lamented.

“Democracy is always a messy business in a big country like this,” Obama responded. “When you listen to what the federalists said about the anti-federalists … those guys were tough. Lincoln, they used to talk about him almost as bad as they talk about me.”

The Narcissist-in-Chief drew almost immediate flack from historians:

The comparison “is hysterical … that is really laughable in many respects,” said Alvin Felzenberg, the author of a book on American presidents. “You couldn’t print things today they said about Lincoln.” Felzenberg teaches at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and was the chief spokesman for the 9/11 Commission.

Criticism of Lincoln in his day “was even more vitriolic than what you see about Obama,” said Eric Foner, a Pulitzer Prize-winning presidential historian at Columbia University. “Obama is a guy who has a thin skin and does not take criticism well.” Foner’s Pulitzer-winning volume was titled ”The Fiery Trial: Abraham Lincoln and American Slavery.”

This is typical of a narcissist and of someone who’s never had to deal with any opposition. Just praise and toasting. Sort of like the child that goes through school being told how wonderful and talented and special he or she is … until reality swims up and, in the words of Matt Hooper in Jaws, bites him or her in the ass.

To put it another way, blogger/radio talk show host/author Charlie Sykes has the 14 Things Kids Won’t Learn in School, since expanded into a best-selling book titled 50 Rules Kids Won’t Learn In School. A cominbination of some of those rules helps explain Obama:

Rule No. 1 is: “Life is not fair. Get used to it.” Rule No. 2 is: The world doesn’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself.This may come as a shock. Usually, when inflated self-esteem meets reality, kids complain that it’s not fair. We have a generation of kids who’ve been indoctrinated with the cult of self-esteem, their lives devoid of any criticism, that, when they meet reality and have to deal with criticism and opposition for possibly the first time ever, it’s a major culture shock. This. Is. Obama. He’s never really accomplished anything but in essence has become the poster child for social promotion. America’s Affirmative Action President. Made possible by one thing: the color of his skin.

Now, he meets opposition for the first time in His life and he whines. “It’s not fair!” And his sycophants cry: “Raaaaacist!” Yes, there are five a’s in “Raaaaacist!” As if the only reason anyone opposes Him is because he is (half) black. A Halfrican-American.

No, you narcissistic little Man-Child. We don’t oppose you because your father was black and as a result you are (half) black. We oppose you because you are the first anti-American president, nurtured on hatred for this country and everything it stands for — including the rugged individualism that led to American exceptionalism. You associated with terrorists and others who hated this country, and that shaped your warped views of America.

Breaking News: Judge Barry Found Dead

Judge Dennis Barry has been found dead in the Lincoln Park area, an apparent victim of foul play.

UPDATE: Racine police have issued a statement saying that foul play is not suspected at this time.

UPDATE II: The Sentinel Journal is reporting it as a suicide.

RACINE – Racine County Circuit Judge Dennis Barry has been found dead in Lincoln Park just north of Spring Street.

He was reportedly found dead in or near a car.

Racine County Circuit Judge Judge Allan “Pat” Torhorst says he was notified by county officials at 9:30 a.m. today.

“I was notified as soon as they could by the county executive and the sheriff,” said Torhorst, the deputy chief district judge for our judicial district.

Judge Barry was one of the finest judges on the Racine County Circuit Court, having previously served as Racine County District Attorney. He had a reputation as a law-and-order conservative judge.
