Ron Paul Sides With Dead Jihadist

Breaking news: Ron Paul is still nuts. Film at eleven.

The Roasted Paulnut himself has condemned the killing of a top Al Qaeda jihadist in Yemen via a drone. WHy? Because the jihadist was born in the United States and as such, Paul argues we deprived him of due process.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (al-AP) — Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is condemning the Obama administration for killing an American born al-Qaida operative without a trial.

Paul, a Texas congressman known for libertarian views, says the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki on Yemeni soil amounts to an “assassination.” Paul warned the American people not to casually accept such violence against U.S. citizens, even those with strong ties to terrorism.

As Mark Belling pointed out on his show this afternoon, we are not fighting a traditional war against another nation with a uniformed army. In addition, the jihadist that was turned into a crispy critter by the U.S. military is not in the U.S. and has taken up arms against the country of his birth.

The only good jihadist … is a dead jihadist.

Congratulations to the U.S. military on a high profile kill … and Ron Paul is still nuts. No wonder few people take him seriously.
