ACORN = Organized Crime September 10, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
Don’t forget, folks. These are the best friends of Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama, and He’s put them in charge of the 2010 census.
ACORN — the Association of Corrupted Organizations Registering Non-voters — has been caught red-handed trying to scam taxpayers in Baltimore.
Via Michelle Malkin, James O’Keefe at Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government has the details of a couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute getting advice from ACORN on how to avoid paying taxes by lying to the IRS and how to claim two underage illegal aliens as dependants.
Don’t forget: ACORN receives millions and millions of our tax dollars to break the law and help others break it.
O’Keefe has the transcript and the audio. Breitbart TV has the video.
More coverage from Fox News here.
Malkin also has more about 11 ACORN members arrested for — steady — voter fraud in Miami.
Repeat after me — loudly and often:
ACORN is a criminal enterprise.
Indeed. ACORN should be the target of a federal RICO investigation rather than being put in charge of the 2010 census.
But that’s what you get for being a longtime associate of the Street Thug in Chief.
More “birds of a feather” stuff.
The Last Call September 10, 2009

Tomorrow is the 8th anniversary of one of the worst days in U.S. history. We’ll be posting videos and images from that horrible day throughout the weekend.
Here’s one. A man making a desperate call to 9-1-1 hoping for help that would never arrive.
The radicals now in power in Washington want to take this day and turn it into a national community organizing day instead of remembering what happened that day.
Watch the video. Listen to the desperation in his voice. Imagine the eventual horror when he realized help would never come. And ask yourself:
Does this inspire you to go organize some communities to commit voter fraud? Attempt to intimidate Americans of opposing views into silence? Shake down private businesses for money? Astroturf some events to push for more socialism to be introduced into America?
Naaaaaaah. Didn’t think so.
Shame on those bastards for trying to politicize 9/11.
The NRSC Is Stuck On Stupid September 1, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
From John Hawkins at Right Wing News via The Other McCain:
It seems that Sen. Jon Cornyn of the National Republican Senatorial Committee is perenially stuck on stupid.
He just doesn’t get it.
After turning the U.S. Senate race in Florida into a clusterfark by endorsing RINO Charlie Crist over a real conservative — and a Hispanic to boot, the ethnic group Cornyn says we need amnesty to reach out to — the NRSC is sticking its nose into Senate races in Colorado and California, pushing Crist-like squishy RINOs over hardcore conservatives, continuing to make the mistake of believing that if the GOP were more like the Democrats they’d win.
Here’s Hawkins on the California race:
In California, I’ve been told that Cornyn has told private donor gatherings that Carly Fiorina is the NRSC’s choice. Why keep it below the radar like that? To try to cut off funds to Chuck Devore without catching the attention of blogs like this one.
Carly Fiorino is an unmitigated disaster for California Republicans. Her track record as head of Hewlett-Packard is the stuff for campaign ads for Sen. Barbara Boxer, the incumbent Democrat Statist. Imagine … “Carly Fiorino will do for California what she did for HP …” Not that the Granola State — the Land of Fruits, Nuts andFlakes — is in all that great shape to begin with, but still …
Here’s Chuck Devore’s website. Go make a donation to piss off the NRSC, who clearly wants to stay in the minority and be the Go Along, Get Along Gang.
From the Denver Post, here’s what another fine mess Cornyn and the NRSC are creating in Colorado:
The chairman of the Colorado Republican Party says he plans to inform a national GOP group today that it created a “backlash” by registering two domain names for potential U.S. Senate candidate Jane Norton.
Dick Wadhams pointed to a rash of e-mails during the weekend among Colorado Republicans who are upset with the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which they believe is playing favorites in the crowded 2010 primary field.
The backlash is so strong, Republican sources say, that Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck might stay in the Senate race after all. He had been expected to withdraw today.
Buck could not be reached for comment.
“I fully intend to let them know that Colorado Republicans expect to select their nominee themselves without the endorsement of outside groups,” Wadhams said Sunday.
“There is a backlash. You can see it in the e-mail traffic.”
One e-mail was written by Le Moine Dowd and distributed by Scott Starin, chairman of the Boulder County Republican Party. The subject line reads, “Send this to every Republican you know.”
She wrote that the “the endorsement of Jane Norton by the NRSC is essentially a deathblow for all other candidates.”
“Do we want the NRSC deciding our candidate? Does this action by the NRSC make the primary election irrelevant? Does it make the Colorado Republican Party irrelevant?” she asked.
Stuck. On. Stupid. The same mentality that had the Bush White House interfere in the Pensylvania Senate race in 2004 between then-Republican incumbent (actually, a RINO) Arlen “Magic Bullet” Specter and a real conservative, Pat Toomey and tilt the playing field toward the RINO Specter.
What the NRSC did was reserve two domain names for a squishy faux conservative that it wants as part of its Go Along Get Along Gang in Washington. To be fair, it should have reserved two domain names for every candidate, but its actions reveal a de facto endorsement.
Says Hawkins:
How dare these arrogant jackasses at the NRSC disrespect Republicans across the country be interfering in these primaries? I know what they’re thinking, “2010 is going to be a good year. We’ll win some seats no matter what and then everyone will agree that we were smart to interfere.”
That’s not what’s going happen. If we win seats in 2010, it’ll be because the environment was so good that we won in spite of the arrogant buffoons at the NRSC. That’s part of the problem with politics. The political environment changes and then guys who are stuck on stupid, like John Cornyn, become convinced that they’re Machiavellian political wizards despite the fact that they can barely find their behind with both hands.
This is the one-size-fits-all mentality that is part of the Washington culture. A bunch of pinhead elitists think they can handpick the candidates in races in every state better than the folks who actually live there.
Here’s a fact: Voters who tend to vote Republican are sick and tired of having to hold their noses and go into a voting booth and choose the lesser of two evils, between a Democrat and a Democrat-lite.
Me too! Me too! Me too! This is the pinhead snobbish elitism of David Brooks, of Bruce Bartlett, of Kathleen Parker. And so on.
The NRSC needs to keep its nose out of the state races and support whomever the voters choose.

The Post Office And Health Care August 12, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
We’ve always said that government-run health care would be modeled after the Post Office with the efficiency of the DMV and the compassion of the IRS.
Our Lord and Savior pretty much admitted that in a Bidenesque gaffe yesterday at an astroturfed town hall with more potted plants than a garden center.
Said Barack Hussein Obama:
UPS and FedEx are doing just fine. It’s the Post Office that’s always having problems.
Guess which one is run by the government? Just like your health care will be if Dear Leader gets His way.
Here’s the video:
Take the Idiot off His teleprompter and you get accidental honesty. Fact is, government-run health care is the Post Office, the DMV, every bureaucratic nightmare rolled up into one package, all with the compassionate of the IRS as a bow.
Says Allahpundit at HotAir:
Well, now I’m sold. If only he’d sweetened the pot and promised us it’d be like the DMV, I’d be ready to don an SEIU shirt and beat some protesters myself.
Karl in HotAir’s Green Room corrects all the deliberate misinformation that the Second Coming of Christ has put out about His health care plan thus far.
The Anointed One and His minions could open their own chain of Burger King restaurants over this issue alone: billions and billions of whoppers told here.
Michelle Malkin labels Him D’ohbama and notes:
This is what happens when the teleprompter of the United States goes on vacation …
The public “option” is a trojan horse for single-payer government-run health care. It will destroy private insurance because it is designed to do just that. It is no “option.”
Under this legislation, all Americans will be required to have insurance, just like auto insurance is mandatory in all but one state. All employers will be required to provide insurance to all employees or pay a fine to the government.
If you do not have insurance when the legislation goes into effect, you are automatically put into the public “option.” When something is mandatory, by definition it’s not an option. You are forced into it. From page 16 in H.R. 3200, you will not be allowed to buy private insurance. The government “option” is your only “option,” all the while undercutting private insurance in a way only government can to drive it out of business. Government can “afford” to lose money. All government programs lose money, since there is no profit motive, and they never go away.
That means the only people who will have private insurance are the ones who will have it in effect at the the legislation goes into effect. Now, in theory, that means if you have insurance, you can keep it, but it will have to meet government-mandated standards in terms of coverage.
What happens if you lose your job and the insurance that goes with it? Into the public “option” you go. No option, is it? What’s more, since the fine for not providing insurance to employees is significantly lower than the cost of actually providing it, what incentive is there for businesses to actually provide insurance? None, so watch the mass dumping of private employer-provided insurance plans with businesses opting to pay the fine.
Where would the employees go whose insurance was terminated? You guessed it: into the public “option.”
You may ask, why not make the fine so stiff that businesses would choose to provide health insurance? Because that’s not the end goal. The end goal is to destroy private health insurance and not allow it to compete against a so-called public “option.”
That’s why the public “option” is a trojan horse for what The Messiah, the Banking Queen, Bela Pelosi, et al. want: single-payer government-run health care.
They are lying, and what they are angry about is the American people figured it out and the American people don’t like what it being rammed down their throats.
Via Gateway Pundit comes word that support for ObamaCare is tanking big time.
Despite tremendous state-run media support, more and more Americans are rejecting Obamacare.
Rasmussen reports that only 42 percent of Americans surveyed support ObamaCare, while 53 percent oppose the plan. Shining the light of truth sure does make the cockroaches scatter. No wonder the full court press was on from the White House to fast-track this bill through Congress and onto Dear Leader’s desk to be signed before the American people found out what was in it.
Public support for the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low as just 42% of U.S. voters now favor the plan. That’s down five points from two weeks ago and down eight points from six weeks ago.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that opposition to the plan has increased to 53%, up nine points since late June.
More significantly, 44% of voters strongly oppose the health care reform effort versus 26% who strongly favor it. Intensity has been stronger among opponents of the plan since the debate began.
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of those under 30 favor the plan while 56% of those over 65 are opposed. Among senior citizens, 46% are strongly opposed.
Read. The. Bill.
We’ve had enough of 1,000-page pieces of legislation assembled in back rooms of Congress that no one has read being passed without discussion and debate. That’s not a representative republic. That is the definition of tyranny.
Federal Salary Control Advances April 2, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
10 RINOs joined the Democrats in taking the next step toward achieving My Boy Lollipop Bawney Fwank’s desire for complete federal control of what you are allowed to earn and impose a federal maximum wage.
The Pay For Performance Act passed the House 247-171. Last time the House went after someone’s money unconstitutionally, 85 Republicans joined the Democrats. This time, 75 of them learned their lesson and voted against another unconstitutional bill. Curiously, House GOP Whip Eric Cantor, who voted for the previous bill, voted “present” on this one. I thought the House Whip was a leadership position. Could the Saul Alinsky-style targeting of Cantor by the perpetual campaign in the White House have turned him into yet another in a seemingly endless stream of lily-livered, linguini-spined girlie men Republican “leaders”?
Michelle Malkin is still unforgiving of the 85 who voted for the 90 percent ex post facto bill of attainder against the AIG bonuses:
As for those who had a change of heart: Sorry, you don’t deserve wine and roses for doing what you should have done in the first place. There’s no rational reason or fixed principle the rest of the class of 85 House Republicans who voted for the first bonus restrictions can give you for supporting that measure while opposing the new salary controls — harbingers of worse things to come. And they know it.
The 85 AIG bonus-taxing House Republicans, led by Minority Whip Eric Cantor, revealed their arbitrary and capricious commitment to fiscal conservatism. They can’t be trusted to stand for what’s right when the heat is on. And they shouldn’t be allowed to forget it.
By the way, one of those Republicans who voted for the AIG retro tax was my own Congresscritter, Paul Ryan, who should know better. Ryan apparently has had a change of heart.
A top Republican now has buyer’s remorse about his vote last week in favor of a punitive tax increase on AIG employees.
Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the top Republican on the budget committee, said Thursday he would have voted against the 90 percent tax increase if he had known that legal scholars would deem it unconstitutional.
“Now, that I know — which I didn’t at the time — that this is unconstitutional, I wouldn’t have voted the same way,” Ryan said during a taping of C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers” on Thursday — the show is set to air on Sunday. POLITICO was one of the participants in the Ryan interview.
Ryan blames confusion about the constitutionality of the plan on Democrats for rushing the bill through the House.
“You rush this thing to the floor. Nobody had time to review it,” Ryan said on the C-SPAN program, adding that lawmakers “got conflicting advice on it” before the vote.
Sorry, but I don’t buy that explanation. As a true conservative, Ryan should have known better than to support an emotional outburst based on class envy and class warfare. Taxing anything at 90 percent is immoral and just plain wrong.
Folks, the salary control that is coming incrementally will allow the federal government to determine what your earnings will be. It very well may impose a maximum wage — the most common figure I have seen bandied about is $250,000 a year, since no one really needs more than that (cough, hack) — on most Americans. You know that big Democrat contributors such as those from the entertainment industry will be exempted. But for the little people, Our Lord and Savior has determined that enough is enough and we need to know what’s enough for each of us.
Remember what the Chocolate Jesus told Jay Leno:
But the larger problem is we’ve got to get back to an attitude where people know enough is enough, and people have a sense of responsibility and they understand that their actions are going to have an impact on everybody.
And our response to Him:
Translated: if you don’t voluntarily limit yourself, government will limit you. And if you try to achieve as much as you can, then you are not being responsible and we will make you responsible.
That is socialism. Pure and simple.
Blowback On Making Vets Pay For Care March 20, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
You won’t find this in the Drive By Media as of yet, but you will find it at of all places, the PuffHo.
Seems Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama is getting guff from His own party on Capitol Hill about His plan to make U.S. troops injured in combat pay for their own treatment, either through private medical insurance or out of their own pockets, which would include deductibles.
Democrats in Congress are organizing to squash a White House proposal that would require veterans to use private insurance to pay for treatment of their combat and service-related injuries.
In a letter being sent to the White House, a group of House Democrats, led by Rep. Glenn Nye (D-VA), warned that such a proposal “could harm our veterans and their families in unintended, yet very serious ways, jeopardizing their families’ health care and even negatively affecting veterans’ employment opportunities.”
“While we strongly support your plans to increase funding for the VA by $25 billion over the next five years,” the letter reads, “it is with equal conviction that we oppose the proposal to bill veterans’ private health insurance plans for care and treatment of service-connected injuries or disabilities.”
We already knew that the Mom in Tennis Shoes, Sen. Patty Murray (Empty Suit-Wash.) called the plan DOA in Congress. Now more Democrats are speaking out against this awful plan.
Remember: we have $900 million to give to the terrorists from Hamas, we have millions to build bike paths and water parks everywhere, we have billions to give free health care to illegal aliens and 30-year-old “children” under the BullSCHIP expansion — but not one red cent for U.S. troops injured in combat fighting the jihadists that the White House apparently supports.
And Charlie Sykes has video of Jon Stewart taking The Messiah to the woodshed over His plan.
A Challenge To The Messiah March 20, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
A Special Olympic bowler has challenged Our Lord and Savior Barack Hussein Obama to a bowling match in response to The Messiah’s insult to Special Olympians by comparing his lousy bowling to the Special Olympics.
Kolan McConiughey, a Special Olympics competitor who has bowled three perfect 300 games, tells TMZ that the Prez has to score a lot higher than 129 to beat him. Kolan says he bowls an average of 266.
Kolan — who works at a grocery store in Ann Arbor, Mich. — said he’d love to go to the White House to beat Barack on his own lane. Kolan said, “He’s cool, but he can’t beat me.”
The White House, already suffering from “foot in teleprompter” disease, refused comment. Cowards.
By the way, TMZ reminds us that President Bush would have been skewered for making a similar remark.

Who’s At Fault? March 16, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
A stunning result of a survey: nearly half of 12 to 19 year olds surveyed by the Boston Globe believe that Rihanna was at fault for getting brutally beaten by Chris Brown.
Of those questioned, ages 12 to 19, 71 percent said that arguing was a normal part of a relationship; 44 percent said fighting was a routine occurrence.
The results of the survey, conducted by the Boston Public Health Commission across the city and equally among boys and girls, are startling for local health workers who see a generation of youths who seem to have grown accustomed, even insensitive, to domestic violence.
“I think you’d have to be pretty jaded if you weren’t startled by it,” said Casey Corcoran, director of the health commission’s new Start Strong program.
I agree with something Bill O’Reilly said on The O’Reilly Factor tonight: this is a direct result of the negative influence of the (c)rap/hip-hop culture, of which domestic abuse and battery of women is both normal and accepted. It starts with the lyrics which debase women by calling them the B-word and the H-word and routinely discuss physical assault and worse.
Judging from these survey results, we have a lot of work to do to get our culture back.
The Manchurian Candidate March 11, 2009
Posted by The Underground Conservative in Uncategorized.comments closed
Kevin Hassett dubs Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Barack Hussein Obama the Manchurian Candidate for his War on Business.
Imagine that some hypothetical enemy state spent years preparing a “Manchurian Candidate” to destroy the U.S. economy once elected. What policies might that leader pursue?
He might discourage private capital from entering the financial sector by instructing his Treasury secretary to repeatedly promise a brilliant rescue plan, but never actually have one. Private firms, spooked by the thought of what government might do, would shy away from transactions altogether. If the secretary were smooth and played rope-a-dope long enough, the whole financial sector would be gone before voters could demand action.
Another diabolical idea would be to significantly increase taxes on whatever firms are still standing. That would require subterfuge, since increasing tax rates would be too obvious. Our Manchurian Candidate would have plenty of sophisticated ideas on changing the rules to get more revenue without increasing rates, such as auctioning off “permits.”
These steps would create near-term distress. If our Manchurian Candidate leader really wanted to knock the country down for good, he would have to provide insurance against any long-run recovery.
There are two steps to accomplish that.
Discourage Innovation
First, one way the economy might finally take off is for some entrepreneur to invent an amazing new product that launches something on the scale of the dot-com boom. If you want to destroy an economy, you have to persuade those innovators not even to try.
Second, you need to initiate entitlement programs that are difficult to change once enacted. These programs should transfer assets away from productive areas of the economy as efficiently as possible. Ideally, the government will have no choice but to increase taxes sharply in the future to pay for new entitlements.
A leader who pulled off all that might be able to finish off the country.
Hassett, of course, isn’t saying that The Messiah is some sort of pre-programmed candidate sent to America to destroy it. What he is saying is that if such a candidate were sent here to destroy our way of life that candidate would pretty much do what the Chocolate Jesus and His minions are doing.
And it isn’t just a War on Business. It’s a War on Prosperity. A War on Achievement. A War on Success. A War on Capital. And, a War on Capitalism itself.
The end goal, of course, of these Marxist thugs is to destroy the middle class. Remember what Terrence Jeffrey told us about how the Left views America:
Liberals in Washington, D.C., see America divided into roughly three classes.
There is the governing class to which they belong. There is the ever-growing dependent class, whom they reward with government benefits and who in turn votes preponderantly to enhance the liberal power in Washington. And there is the middle class, who are expected to pay all their taxes and to pay them on time, so the governing class can use the revenue to enhance their own power by increasing the benefits paid to the dependent class.
The destruction of the middle class will lead to the inevitable creation of a society with essentially serfs and peasants completely dependent on the largesse of the elites, the nobility. It’s a replication of the feudal society of the Middle Ages. You recall what brought an end to the Middle Ages, don’t you? It was the development of the middle class. Ownership of property and the means of production. Ownership of capital.
Reverse the process and what do you get? A feudal society reminiscent of the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Cuber, Venezuela, North Korea, any place run by socialists, communists and Marxists.
Where the elite nobility has everything and the peasants have whatever the elites deign to let them have. Andi f you speak up, it’s off to the Hope and Change Re-Education Camps for you.
